I ordered the mysore masala dosa and mango milkshake. The dosa was good buy slightly thicker than I am used to. Their sambar was good but not necessarily authentic Karnataka style. The mango milkshake can totally be skipped. It had wierd lumps that looked like the milk substitute they used didn't mix quite as well. The most fascinating thing was the number of times the kitchen called out rather loudly to the server. Felt rather bad for the girl who was holding fort. I appreciate that open kitchens are the current fashion but this wasn't really an open kitchen more the ceiling was one and sound traveled! Net net: a good south Indian place that makes fresh food.

One of the best and most authentic udupi tasting food ever tasted in Canada. We were a party of 7 who visited today for the first time to this warm place and ordered a variety of of vegetarian dosas and appetizers. Mr. Shailu personally greeted us and made us comfortable. The wait staff were two very pleasing and courteous ladies. Everything exceeded our expectations by far. There are a plenty of good south Indian restaurants in the GTA and our expectations were already set at a high level and Mr. Shailu's place easily broke all our previous taste benchmarks. The service felt a little slow at first but after we discovered that everything is fresh and made to order (can you believe that coffee and mango lassi is also made fresh to order?), i would rather say it was a super fast service and we started feeling like home. Give this place a try, Mysore masala dosa(spicy), masala poori, coffee and dark roast dosa(in picture), you will fall in love with this restaurant.

I do love their signature double roast Masala Dosa but not very impressed with anything else as much. However very sweet staff and good service. Response to Mysore Darshini: Talk about being Savage for the heck of it. Lol! I definitely can search for a better restaurant good sir- because the options are endless. But the attitude sure can cost you customers and I’m glad you choose to display it at a public forum.

Located in Mississauga, this place offers some mouth watering South-Indian food. I took the opportunity to try two different items on the menu and I was amazed by the taste. The idlis and dosa refreshed some old memories and it felt good. Pros: You get to try 3 different types of chutneys and a sambar. Authentic Mysore items. Cons: They charge extra ($ 0.50) for small portion items. Eg: I was charged extra for ghee though the server got me only half (1/2) the tiny bowl.

One of the best places to eat the masala dosa. A very friendly owner. He ensured we were comfortable and the bisi belle bath was the best. Speaking to him in Kannada was amazing. Would visit there often.

ONE OF THE BEST SOUTH INDIAN RESTAURANTS FOR BRUNCH. The taste was soooooooooo good that we ordered things again and again! 1. Mysuru Masala Poori - Little tangy but amazing taste. 2. Churumuri - The chillies added was next level hot. Really good and authentic taste. 3. Mysuru Crispy Masala Dasa - The best dosa in Canada(PERIOD). We ordered like 3 times back to back. Chutney tasted amazing, Inside masala was really good! 4. Mysuru Spicy Masala Dosa - It makes you nostalgic if you have eaten Mylari Masala Dosa! The taste and looks almost matches the original. 5. Set Dosa - That butter on top of pudi ! Man just takes you to next level. 6. Filter Coffee - If one is missing the taste of filter coffee in Canada, then Come and relive your taste buds ! 7. Mini Idli - Just took back to memory lane to the taste of the mini idli’s I had back in India, the sambar was so tasty and yummmm! 8. Uddin Vada - Man, so crispy and tasty that we ordered twice! We could not just relish once! The staff were so courteous and accommodating and they made us so welcoming. We got to meet the owner who is also the chef , a former IT manager, very inspiring person who took up his passion seriously and doing the justice! Make sure when you visit look around the pictures on the wall which depicts his story, where he studied and where he grew up and best part how was his career so far! Well, if you have read so far, I appreciate your patience and now, you better go and get spoiled in the beautiful taste of South Indian food!

My son n daughter in-law took me To Mysore Darshini on 4 June 2022 . I being pure vegetarian visiting my son's family at Ontario Canada, they find where they can take me to south indian food. I tried many no restaurant was up to their names except for Saravana Bhavana, Charminar Indian cuisine, Parantha wala galli. But this one Mysore Darshni stands up to the name they have chosen .I even herd the chef talking friendly n caring to an old man n his son in Kannada, I was so happy to hear my mother tongue in Canada?. I was reluctant to trust the taste of the food items on the menu as per my previous experiences at many place, even some were worst, I opted for Mosaru vada, dark roasted Masala dosa inspired by Vidyarthi Bhavana ,Bangalore, filter coffee, My daughter in-law ordered for spicy Pudi paper dosa, my son ordered for masala vada , uddin vada n sambhar. The best was mosaru vada you can call it dahi vada or their vada, spicy served with beaten curd n cara boondi on top, the first morsels took me back to my Bangalore❀ .The dosa, coffee, masala vada n Uddin vada was up to our expectations. Thanks to the awesome taste they are serving. The menu has many types rice items, chapathi roti, n other typical south Indian dishes.. I strongly recommend Mysore Darshini for authentic south Indian / Mysore taste far away from namma ooru ( our home land) . Hi Indians at Ontario, hop in for the best experience..finger licking dishes.

I grew up in south India with fabulous food cooked by my mom. My exposure to different cuisines grew with time, but soul food for me is always south indian cuisine. And south India has at least 4 states with multiple food styles. Paradise for the gastric sense. Best south indian food in GTA at Mysore Darshini. As authentic as I can recollect. We had the uddin vada, idly with sambar, masala dosa, kesari bath and of course the filter coffee
