Myra Canyon Lodge + Ranch

What a treat it was to stay in the Bear Suite up at Myra Canyon Ranch! We were looking for a quite place for a staycation to celebrate my Fiancé's birthday and this place absolutely checked all the boxes. Rolf and Kathrin were amazing hosts and even baked a cake for us! We were able to book an incredible trail ride on their horses for some spectacular views and a great chance to explore the surrounding nature. It is just a quick jaunt up the road the the Trestles, although the road was a sheet of ice in early Feb. We will definitely be back and look forward to sharing this great spot with our friends!

Amazing place surrounded by nature. Perfect for outdoor lovers. The rooms are beautiful and you are completely independent on the apartment. Spent our time walking and biking the trails. Perfect location in between the forest and the city of Kelowna, with spectacular views of it and the Okanagan lake. Good tires are an absolute must for the winter. Kathrin and Rolf are super kind and helpful, while always maintaining social distancing measures. Can't wait to repeat this amazing experience.

We stayed at Kathrin and Rolf while we were biking KVR trail. Both of them are such caring and amazing hosts. Their ranch and rooms are just beautiful, clean and well equipped. We will definitely come back !

We stayed in the bus on the ranch and it was sweet. Super cool set-up and the view from the bus was awesome. Has everything you need and is super clean and cozy. The ranch itself is really cute, there's chickens, horses and a friendly cat. Also we got some free eggs for breakfast. The E-bike rentals there are well worth it. We rode it up to the kvr trestles/tunnels and it was so much fun! View was amazing. To top it off the owner of the ranch is awesome and very accomidating. There are also shuttle options if you are biking and not wanting to bike all the way up the hills to the ranch. We definitely will be back one day. Great vibe. Thanks Rolf! :)

If I could rate this place a million stars, I would! We stayed at Myra Canyon Ranch for 6 months over the winter months as part of their discounted long term offer and it was honestly worth every cent. Rolf, Kathrin and their family were so wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were respectful of our space, but also helped us out with anything we asked for. The ranch itself is beautifully finished, the suites are immaculately clean and we witnessed on several occasions how committed they are to keeping to Covid protocols. Even though there were lots of other guests during our stay, we never once felt unsafe due to the measures they have put in place. We stayed in the Eagles Nest unit, which is the smallest, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in views. The best part about the unit is the incredible huge tub in the bathroom, where you can spend many hours admiring the ever changing landscape of Kelowna and the Okanagan. You share the ranch with multiple furry friends including horses, chickens and two of the most lovable and excitable dogs you could ever wish to meet. Give Lily (the white one) a little bit of time to warm up to you and if you stay long enough you might also get cuddles from the ranch cats. From a practical perspective, the ranch is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Kelowna with ample parking spaces for the number of units. I would strongly recommend winter tires in the colder months. There is lots to do in the general area, including several local wineries and the beautiful Myra Canyon provincial park. I could rave about this all day, but the multiple other 5 star ratings on Google, TripAdvisor and Booking.com show I am not the only one who loved their time at the ranch. I would go back tomorrow if I could. A thousand percent recommend this place ?☺️☺️

I highly recommend picking Myra Canyon Lodge + Ranch as a relaxing vacation spot. The rooms are beautiful and super clean and the view of Kelowna from the ranch is so wonderful! Kathrin and Rolf were very welcoming and caring. If you are biking the KVR this is a must stay for a night or two! The ranch is very bike friendly!

Beautiful place to visit, and stay, if you can manage it with your schedule. Advanced booking is highly recommended, since there is just a handful suites available. Hosts are very friendly and willing to help with any special request you may have. Rooms are well equipped. We traveled with two girls (7 and 8 years old) and they enjoyed the nature and presence of chickens, horses, dogs and cats. Our daughter still sometimes talks about the horseback ride that took place 6 months ago. We hope to visit again.

Perfect get away. Great property, clean, comfortable, quiet, serene. This is not a pampering holiday where you are waited on hand and foot but assistance is readily available. There are no distractions or disruptions of any kind. Free to explore or just comfortably lounge on your private deck breathing clean air with great views. Far enough into the mountains to feel like you are out of the rat race, yet only 13 mins away from some great restaurants in downtown Kelowna. Would love to unwind here again soon.
