K	Kate-Lynn Gordey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alex and I have been working together for ~2.5 years and he has been instrumental in helping me return to running following an Achilles rupture. He is incredibly attentive and has done a great job educating me throughout the process. Further, I can tell Alex truly cares about his clients as he always takes the time to follow up via email and ensure the treatments and associate rehab exercises are truly working. In regards to the clinic, it is a beautiful facility and conveniently located. The staff are also very friendly and have always been super helpful when it comes to booking appointments or answering any general inquires I may have.

The work I’ve had done at a clinic would always be short term and it can be frustrating and a little hopeless feeling like you’ll never get better. I truly came across Myodetox by chance and what drew me to them was that their approach involves treatment + education. Working with Alex for a few months now, who is a phenomenal physiotherapist, has given me skills on how to help improve my own mobility, how to help heal the pain I’ve been experiencing, and education on the root cause of the pain and what was causing it, tools to strengthen my back and knee and overall body. In 6 months I was able to move forward with Alex than in the past 7 years before with other physiotherapists. Alex will explain your injury to you, and Myodetox has a large emphasis on manual therapy (to help eliviate the pain) and movement. Myodetox is also convenient in that they have an interdisciplinary treatment approach between physiotherapists, chiropractic, and massage therapy so they all work together for your care. I’ve since moved and every time I’m back in Toronto I make it a necessity to visit Myodetox. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, and it’s so convenient that they do direct billing for insurance. This is a long review but I can’t express fully how much Myodetox and people like Alex have helped.

From the very first session he was able to provide significant relief for my shoulder injury through manual therapy. He also gave me a prioritized list of practical exercises to do on my own so I could eventually consider myself recovered if not even better than my pre-injury self. The PATH location is beautiful and conveniently located. I often recommend them.

He was able help with back and neck pain caused by my desk job, and helped me through a variety of sports injuries and soreness I’ve experienced throughout the years. Along the way, Alex has always taken the opportunity to teach me about the issue I’m facing, how the body part in question works, and how we’re going to address the problem at the very root. I leave my appointments feeling great and with a list of movements and exercises to do to continue addressing the issues causing pain. The office is sleek and always clean, the front desk staff are super nice and bill my health insurance directly. Overall, I highly recommend Alex and Myodetox.

He is patient in listening to my concerns and was knowledgeable about my situation. A plan was put together a plan of manual therapy and stretches for me. These provided to be extremely helpful in managing my condition and mitigating worsening situations. I no longer feel the pain I felt before with the help of Alex's care. The front desk staff are also so welcoming and friendly. I would recommend my friends to seek Alex.

I had the pleasure of working in-clinic with Jasmine for almost 3 months and let me tell you, she was able to basically heal my shoulder pain during that time! The exercises and knowledge she provided me for our sessions were super helpful. We gradually got into more intense exercises throughout the weeks which were exactly what my shoulder needed/could handle. Not only is Jasmine an amazing physiotherapist, but she is very positive, friendly and personable! Thank you again for everything you've done for me! I also wanted to say that the entire staff that I encountered here were also very friendly and welcoming! :)

I've been seeing Alex Hart for physio treatment and he has really helped with my pain and mobility. Sessions are informative and focused on hands-on, manual release treatment. The focus on manual therapy is what attracted me to try Myodetox. I've had other physiotherapists that treat multiple patients at the same time and mostly attach you to a machine for treatment. This is different and I appreciate the hands-on, personalized treatment I receive.
