★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phenomenal local coffee roaster. Working out of a small unit, My Indie produces a good selection of small batch roasts that include Espresso, Guatemalan, Columbian, Ethiopian, Signature Blends and occasionally lovely treats like Jamaican Blue Mountain and Hawaiian Kona.
They also serve fresh coffee (Latte, Espresso, Americano) for those who need their fix a little quicker. For those who want to try something absolutely indulgent try the Chai Latte.
My Indie also supports locals Artisans and Crafters by offering their wares and collaborating with local businesses such as Market Brewing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best beans in the GTA. I have tried a number of roasters in the GTA, and while the some of them were good I was always working against the freshness clock. You can’t beat My Indie Coffee freshness. On a weekly subscription I receive beans roasted a maximum of 4 days prior to delivery and sometimes the day before delivery. The espresso blend is my go-to. When dialed in it offers great balance and works really well in milk drinks. Nice to know all their beans are organic and ethically sourced.
Service has been great. Meagan, the owner, is quick to respond and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meagan Dier and My Indie Coffee Roasters have been a wonderful surprise since I moved to Newmarket. In addition to having freshly roasted, high quality coffee beans available they have helped change my home coffee experience!.
I recently purchased the Simonelli Oscar II espresso machine and Eureka Magnifico grinder from My Indie Coffee. Both machines have wonderful performance and have changed how I enjoy and share coffee at home. Meagan and her provider were so helpful in setting it up and making sure it was calibrated, giving me espresso with perfect texture and crema every time and frothing that could not be faster and easier. The switch has helped keep sugar out of the morning coffee(s) and greater enjoyment of each cup. Anyone looking to make the switch to a home espresso machine should give serious consideration to the Simonelli brand and the great customer service and pricing at My Indie Coffee.
Newmarket is lucky to have such a great local roaster and business owner. Highly recommend your visit their store if you live in the area or driving through!

Flavourful and like a fresh tight hug from a loved one - Meagan’s passion for her work is brewed through every sip. Love this company and hope it stays on my counter for all my mornings ahead.
