We've nearly finished the assessment, planning, and design portions of our maintenance & repair / basement completion project. So far, everything has been on time, within budget, very professional, and of the high quality and competence we expected of this firm.

My experience with Graeme and the MyHouse team comes not from that of a client, but from the perspective of a professional tradesman. I have had the distinct pleasure of dealing with the MyHouse team many times over the years as an installer of various products they offer. My experience has always been, 100% of the time, nothing short of outstanding. The MyHouse team is the best! Graeme treats all of his staff like they are his own family. He is kind, respectful and very professional to all who work with the team. I use the word team because that's how it feels to offer services there. It is not a boss/employee relationship. It is a team, all working together with Graeme steering the ship. I have been in the installation business for 45 years now, and worked with dozens of companies, and can say with all honesty that Graeme and the MyHouse team is the best I have ever had the pleasure to work with. So to Graeme the owner, to Shawna, the amazing office gal who runs the show with excellence, and the others too numerous to name, I tip my hat to your quest for perfection in all you do. No wonder MyHouse has won so many Best Of trophies for excellence over the years. I live in another province now, but if I ever came back to Surrey I would eagerly offer my services again to the amazing MyHouse team. I thank you for many pleasurable business transactions. We were referred to My House by our realtor and we had also seen their beautiful work at the home show- so we decided to contact them! We are so happy with our project and have enjoyed every step of the way- and they make it so easy and fun! If you are looking to reno or build a home and want great design, and a company that truly cares- these are the people!

Our house is not ready till the end of summer and so I cannot comment on punctuality. However as retired seniors renovating an old timer bungalow from top to bottom and practically every inch of the house, we need trustworthy professionals to guide us every step of the way. We could not have asked for a better team of architect, interior designer, project manager, the permit application liaison person, even the on site foreman and his workers. We were consulted, educated, led on tours of actual factories, showrooms which were planned out in organized fashion making them actually enjoyable without being overwhelming. The planning phase was very detail oriented keeping in mind our budget and sourcing out the best deals for our dollars. The design of the whole house was breathtaking, congruent yet not rigid without possible changes as we see fit. In short they are honest, open, friendly, above board, true professionals and leaders in their own fields of expertise. I just wish I can keep buying more real estate so more beautiful well built homes are available for Vancouverites!

I found that choosing a company to take care of my home renovation was a difficult decision to make. I spoke with 5 different companies and I chose My House Design Build Team. That decision was based mostly on visiting some of the homes they had worked on and seeing the quality of their work for myself. Visiting those homes gave me the sense that the My House Design Build Team were people that took pride in their work and excelled at it. I hoped that I would get the same quality and now that my project is complete, I can say that they certainly met the high standard that they advertised. This was my first experience with renovating and I definitely benefitted from working with the designer. When I look at my finished renovation, I would estimate that there must have been hundreds of decisions that needed to be made to complete this project. The designer quickly figured out that I was not going to be much help and so she did not overwhelm me with choices. She put together a package and then gave me a few basic decisions to make. The designer did the “heavy lifting” for me and I was extremely happy with what she created. I told her it was exactly what I wanted which was an amazing result because I did not know what I wanted until she showed it to me. As happy as I am with how my home renovation turned out I would not say that is the primary reason why I would choose to work with the My House Design Build Team again. After experiencing my home renovation, I would say that it is unreasonable to expect everything to go the way things are planned. I would guess there were between 50 and 100 different people involved with my project. In general, My House Design Build chooses to work with high quality trades and suppliers, but they cannot control everything. During my project some things did not go as planned but in every case My House Design simply took care of it and made things right. If you choose to work with My House Design Build you will be getting a fantastic result but more importantly you can be assured that they will take care of you along the way.

My House Design/Build completed a fabulous renovation of our 100 year old home several years ago. The quality of work was outstanding, from design to the finish touches of construction. There were several surprises when we started to take apart our house and uncover it's history, and My House was always ready with the solutions before we even realized there was a problem. We've now moved into another old house and were quick to go back to My House for support with interior design, and will be back for sure when we are ready for a big renovation!
