★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did the beginner pottery class, and found the session fun and very informative. The instructor, William, made the class very welcoming and encouraged you to be creative with your pieces. I end up making 6 pieces and would definitely recommend this class to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took beginners class at MW. Mina and William are very nice, polite and friendly. William taught us basics of pottery. He is very patient, he encourages a lot, and explains the steps thoroughly. I had wonderful time learning pottery! Highly recommend his classes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience with Mina at MW Artists! She custom designed a gold necklace for me with diamonds and other gemstones. She was so detailed and thorough with her drawings and I was part of the whole process. She made the whole necklace from scratch and it was amazing to be a part of that experience! Really one-of-a-kind unique piece made for me. From start to finish, we worked together to make my necklace super special. With MW Artists, you feel like they really care and take pride in their work. I can trust them with my jewellery. I will definitely recommend my friends to them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for the beginner pottery class with my husband and we loved it. William is a great teacher who is patient and calm. I like how he doesn't throw instructions at you, but rather walks you through the steps at your pace. The whole experience wasn't just fun--it was therapeutic as well.
The studio is pandemic-friendly as the wheels are spaced out from each other. It's also super clean and bright. There are so many pieces of pottery in all shapes and sizes displayed around the studio--there is no shortage of inspiration here.
MW Artists is truly is a place for makers to come together! This place is a gem in Scarborough!

The owner and instructor William clearly demonstrated the steps of throwing pottery on the wheel, and we got to practice for hours. I strongly recommend it to those who are interested in learning pottery

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I attended a Beginner's All-Inclusive at MW Artists and had a wonderful experience! William is a great instructor who is very patient and kind. Our group was completely new to pottery and he took a lot of time and care to teach us the basics. William and his wife Mina gave us a lot of validation about our final products, which was super nice! ? The atmosphere at the studio is very nice and our group found the whole experience very therapeutic—we will be sure to come back and recommend this studio to our friends & family!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the Beginners class a couple of weeks ago and I was so happy to see my pottery ready for pickup! I've always wanted to try the pottery wheel and now I've done it! I loved it! Going back again with my friends. William was an amazing teacher. So patient and helpful. Learned a lot in the 3-hour class. Mina was also very friendly and welcoming. If you want something fun to do during the weekend, definitely check out MW Artists!
