The first few days it sat on my counter glistening as sunlight fell on my kitchen counter- it looked so magnificent I could hardly make myself use it. So far I’ve only had the courage to slice a cucumber lest I injure it’s beautiful grain. Handcrafted by skilled craftsmen, the cutting board is a rich walnut in a deep uniform tone, exactly as I requested. Meticulously etched with the monogram I asked for, this is undoubtedly an heirloom. And, proudly Canadian! Quite easily matches or exceeds prominent major manufacturers of commercial cutting boards in North America. Prompt service, they went out of their way to ensure it met all my criteria. I moisten the surface with the oil they provided, each time I walk past it. Looks too good to use. I think I’ll keep using my beater so I can keep admiring it. Will definitely order again. A great jewel in the kitchen. Gorgeous! Thank you!

It was a gift for our 5th wedding anniversary (traditionally celebrated with wood). It is a beautiful piece and we are both very pleased with the quality, the engraving they accommodated to be on the back of the board per my request it not be on the work surface, and their customer service.

No big deal but I didn’t realize that when I ordered it. I bought the walnut wood board from the Professional Chef series. Much darker than it shows in the photo. It’s so nice I almost don’t want to use it! Would buy again.

Received a 3rd replacement board and it seems to be holding. (2-stars) Purchased an edge grain board and it fell apart within a month. I was given given a warranty replacement (after a about of month of trying to contact them via email), however the replacement also had issues with the board splitting. Contacted them again and received one followup, but then was later ignored after multiple emails to them. Pictures of replacement board splitting after a week

I am also impressed with the beeswax / mineral oil finish and will work to maintain this as it gives it a nice shiny look along with protecting from wear. Will only update review if quality deteriorates significantly / unexpectedly. Thank you.
