Very nice place. Lots of information and history about the artifacts. The gentleman who was on duty was very knowledgeable as well. I liked that it was "off the beaten path" too. Highly recommended to visit!

Excellent Museum. Very nice displays. Love the history and the heritage. The log cabin was a wonderful addition. The scavenger hunt for the kids was very good. Man at the front desk was very informative and very friendly.

Excellent place to learn a little to a lot about Muskoka area heritage and history. Lots of excellent historical pieces, many of which were interactive (including a working dial telephone pair and a megnetophone pair), with lots of games and activities for children as well. Also had a quaint gift shop to buy historical books and fun knick knacks. Would highly recommend!

Very well designed and updated! Haven't been in since I was a kid and was greatly impressed. Very informative information but with some of it clearly printed off wikipedia that raises some concerns. The pioneer cabin is great along with all the exhibits. Lots of activities for kids. Well worth it to check it out!

Staff was very friendly being we showed up 30min to closing. The kids loved looking at the old phones and it was fun to show the kids how the settlers use to live in muskoka.

Went with a tour group. Our museum tour guides were very knowledgeable and eloquent. It was very interesting and informative. Great opportunity to look at the past and appreciate it. I enjoyed the museum and think it's worth a visit. It's on its own island which is pretty cool.
