Ils ont installé une transmission usagée qui m as été conseillé sur mon véhicule.
J ai attendu 1 semaine pour qu' ils diagnostiquent le problÚme et 1 autre semaine et demi pour qu' ils soient en mesure de faire le travail. (Une chance que j'ai eu quelqu un pour me dépanner avec une autre auto) Des que je récupÚre mon véhicule, des problÚmes similaires à mon ancienne transmission surgissent alors. Lorsque j y suis retourné pour leur faire part de mes problÚmes, ils n'étais pas réceptifs et me disaient que c étais tout à fait normal que ça puisse arriver. Jamais ils m ont offert de faire vérifier mon auto pour voir le problÚme pour pouvoir le rectifier ...
J me suis fait rĂ©fĂ©rer un autre spĂ©cialiste de la transmission par un ami mĂ©cano. Lorsque je l ai laissĂ©, on m'as dis que 1. L'huile Ă©tais trop remplie et 2. Aucun filtre n'as Ă©tĂ© mit. Selon eux, cet "oubli" aurait pu endommager la transmission Ă un point de non retour vu que les problĂšme rencontrĂ©s Ă©taient dĂ» Ă la surchauffe. En d autres mots, 2200$ (main d Ćuvre inclue) aux vidanges. Maintenant, mon auto roule comme un charme, surtout pas grĂące Ă eux!!!
TO AVOID!
They installed a used transmission that I was advised on my vehicle.
I waited 1 week for them to diagnose the problem and another week and a half for them to be able to do the job. (A chance I had someone to help me out with another car) As soon as I get my vehicle back, problems similar to my old transmission then crop up. When I returned to tell them about my problems, they were not receptive and told me it was quite normal that it could happen. They never offered to have my car checked to see the problem so I could rectify it ...
I was referred another transmission specialist by a mechanic friend. When I left it, I was told that 1. The oil was overfilled and 2. No filter was fitted. According to them, this "forgetfulness" could have damaged the transmission to a point of no return because the problems were due to overheating. In other words, $ 2200 (labor included) to the garbage. Now my car rolls like a charm, especially not thanks to them !!!
