★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good camp with solid staff. Gym facilities while small have lots of selection for the available space. The black bear recreation society puts on events including dodgeball and floor hockey tournaments from time to time to make your stay feel closer to what one might do at home. Having a full sized theatre, driving range, dart boards, boardgames, and pool tables means that there's never nothing to do. Wifi can be quite slow, so don't expect video calls to be the clearest. Food is varied although some days are definitely lacklustre. Every Saturday is steak day, so bring your A game.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure how sharing a bathroom is covid safe meanwhile we wear masks everywhere and they have protocols everywhere too. But we can share a bathroom with a random stranger.
No towels are provided.
Gym is closed.
Food is great. Place to sleep is not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Main camp is fancy, however if your a contactor get ready for a less than great time. Washrooms are Jack and Jill. Temperature regulation is tough to maintain depending which bunkhouse you have, either A or B bunk. Mid bunk has wifi that struggles to even function. The largest drawback is contractor camp is a 1km drive to main camp which houses the cafeteria. A massive draw back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst managed camp I've been at. Room haven't got clean in 2 months and they bunk 2 nightshift together sharing the bathroom when the whole dorms is empty. If you are contractors and have the chance to be working elsewhere you probably better doing so.
