★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hike but not for people out of shape. Basically you go straight up for about an hour but well worth the views. We went for sunset and it was so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re expecting an easy hike this is not for you (at least this trailhead isn’t). This trail is very steep for quite some time. We walked for a bit but had to turn around. We are sad to have missed the beautiful summit view. Go to the other trailhead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely trail with beautiful viewpoints! We did this hike in February a day after fairly heavy rains, and it was still very walkable (albeit safest with hiking shoes and good rain gear). We thought the first viewpoint was good, but it got better and better! Starting from the West trailhead, it's about 2 km of steeper climbing before the incline becomes more forgiving as you get closer to alpine. The whole hike took about 2 hours. Lots of fun!
