About Mr.Sub
In 1968, two friends came up with a delicious idea: sell quality food, serve it fast, make it fresh…and above all, give customers value for their money.They took their idea of making fresh sandwiches and opened the first Mr.Submarine in Toronto at 130 Yorkville Avenue in 1968. The response was overwhelming and just five months later the two founders opened a second Mr.Submarine.
In 1972, MR.SUB sold its first franchise and that first franchisee is still with MR.SUB to this day.
In 1990 Mr.Submarine officially became MR.SUB and in 2011 it was proudly purchased by the MTY Food Group Inc. As of 2017, MR.SUB has over 260 locations across Canada as well as internationally. In 2018 we began serving RWA meats in our most popular subs, reconfirming our commitment to providing honest food that you can feel good about feeding your family. After five decades, we’re proud to say we’ve been your home away from home, a place for late night snacks, post-game hangouts, and so much more. You’ve put your trust in us, and we’ve made it our mission to keep earning it. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I go to this location early morning almost every weekday and I see same guy working there since last 1 to 1.5 years. He is so wonderful and polite never forgets to greet me and makes me the best breakfast in the town (Now I do not even need to tell him what I want, he is ready with a liquid egg tray and croissant as soon as I enter the store). Even though early morning is busy sometimes, still he handle each and every customer so graciously giving equal priority to all. Never seen such a clam guy...simply the best.. Thanks for my croissant..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Mr. Sub is close to work which makes it handy for lunch. It is a spotless place to sit in and their prep area is tidy, well stocked and clean as well. The crew is always friendly and welcoming. I had an order for 5 subs today and they were done and wrapped in no time and with patience while I figured what exactly I wanted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and service was very good. The staffs serving the lunch time crowd are nice and made suggestions for options while I was being indesisive! Enjoyed the sub of the day, which is a great deal! Ample seats to enjoy your sub/meal. Definitely going there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr Sub opens early that I appreciate course everything around there opens after 8am. I ordered the egg ? sausage sandwich and it cost 7.32 CD which was reasonable, but I did not finish my sandwich because it was made with liquid egg which did not work for me. The place is nice just I person working in the morning since nobody wakes up before 7am around here. I think I will give them a second chance and try their lunch menu the next time am in this area. If you are American is setup like subway FYI

Never before have I ordered delivery from a location to have it show up with basically nothing on it. More bread and wrap than filling. Basically half the size I get from any of the other locations ever. You charge $8.50 for all wrap, one piece of lettuce?!? (exaggeration obviously, but driving my point home) Gross. Thanks for stealing my money.
