Unfortunately now it’s poorly managed, the servers are offensive and they yell at you, The food is subpar and the drinks are mediocre at best. Would not recommend, looking for other options in the local area

Food is great - my favourites are their bagels (with herb & garlic cream cheese) and their BLTs! Their coffee is also very good! Can’t forget the lovely ambiance (with Christmas lights on the ceiling) and great customer service! The owners (and all of the other employees) have been very nice ever since I can remember. :)

Got a small pumpkin latte and was charged $5 for maybe 60ml - the photo is not an illusion, buying a drink here is more of a ripoff than Starbucks. When I went to drink it, I realized that the coffee they make is what smells like cigarettes. It was gray, smelled burnt and gave me a headache. Not sure how this place is still running to be honest. Even though I live in the area, my friends and I never come here because of bad experiences from years ago. Glad I trusted my instincts, I'll stick to the nicer cafes in Durham.
C	Crystal Capalbo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My brother started coming here before work and ordering their iced capp. He raved about how delicious they were, especially for a local coffee shop so I popped into today to give some of their menu a try. I got a simple iced coffee and a croissant with jam. The iced coffee was great. Enough flavoured syrup, smooth taste (not the ‘roasted’ and gritty taste you get at other places) , and a good splash of cream. The croissant was fresh and flaky. Service was great. Lots of seating inside but I enjoyed the tables outside which are a nice bonus. I’ll definitely be back to try other items - the sandwiches people were eating looked so good!
