★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly a gem in the age of streaming, especially for those of us who grew up during the movie store era. If you have the chance, do not hesitate to pay them a visit. Knowledgable staff, comforting environment and soo many movies. They have something for everyone!! Long live Movie World!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was surprised to see a movie rental store still around. Great friendly staff. You also can trade in your movies you no longer watch for a wide selection of movies they have. They are always getting in different movies. Great place to check out. Rentals are really great price.

When I would go to Movie world we found that they have a great selection of new releases and a very organized selection of classics and lots of movies to choose from. Not to mention the video game selection!!! Really Good job guys! The reason for the 3 star review... ... About 10 years ago we had an overnight rental that had to be returned. I personally returned this movie in the drop box located on the outside of the building. There must have been some sort of miscommunication or error internally however the movie got lost! they contacted me later in the week to let me know that it was past due. I went in person to investigate with them maybe it fell through the cracks? However we were unsuccessful at locating the movie that I know I returned. I have attempted several times over the past 10 years to re activate my account with them however they will not help me out unless I pay around 80$ worth of late fees on one movie. Knowing that the issue lies within the store I will not pay late fees on a movie that I returned. With this being said I would love to support a local small business but cannot due to internal politics from 10 years ago. In stead of support I can only wish good luck to Movie world in this trying industry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Movie World is a really neat place. It’s a hidden gem in that deserves a visit for the nostalgic or if your looking for new movie to watch.
The movies are really current with the new releases and are reasonable priced to rent. They are the same movies as you would see on Telus and Are WAY cheaper than the theatre, especially if you are in a budget.
They offer a great range and new and “catalogued” videos. They even offer VHS videos if you are so inclined. They even provide a free bag of popcorn when you start up a new account with them.
The store was clean and had really great friendly staff. If you are in a bit of a hurry they even offer snack choices for your family movie night or if your just feeling snacks.
Definitely Stop in here for sure!
