C	Cody Dyer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beginner friendly and staff is super nice. They say to show up 15 min early but you can get away being 5 min early. Great experience if you are in the area.
M	Melissa Meloche on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was mine and my Husbands 15 year anniversary and love horses and horse back riding. We called to make a reservation and was given detailed instructions on what to expect, what to wear, and was notified that if the weather was not good that we would be notified of cancellation. When we arrived Covid protocols were in place. We were met by staff that were extremely nice. When it came time for our horses to be mounted we were given the name of our horse, told exactly how to do so and how to control our horse in case you have never done so. My husband had Zeker or Zeke for his riding companion and I had Starr. Both were rescued and are now living there best life. Our ride was awesome we will definitely be back again. The whole ride my husband had great conversation with the owner of the establishment. Once again the staff was awesome and nice and we thank you for a great time.
J	Jackie Jobin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an awesome time on are trail ride..the ladies were wonderful and very knowledgeable..the horses are very well taken care of and gentle..would recommend this stable for any new riders and experienced once..can't wait to go back for a ride during the winter months..

The “guides” were not friendly at all and consistently told us things NOT to do rather than actually explain/have conversations with us. No introductions were made - don’t know any of the guides names. The two guides at the front spent the entire time talking to one another rather than educating/conversing with their customers. We weren’t able to “hang out”/interact with our horses before or after the ride either. The whole experience was just very cut and dry. The horses and actual ride were fine, the actual people running it… not so much. Not impressed - won’t be going back. Your money and time would be better spent somewhere else.

At Mountain View Stables, Melanie Mac Lachlan not only rescues horses and dogs, but what ever other critter that needs assistance (e.g. alpacas, pot bellied pigs, raccoons etc.). You can get Horseback Riding Lessons or just enjoy the Horseback Trail Rides through the wilderness, with a great view of the Blue Mountains. I was lucky enough to photograph a deer while riding through the woods. You can also get your dog properly trained at Mountain View Stables, either in Group or Private Obedience Lessons. Your furry family member will become a very reliable and pleasant companion. The Dog Obedience Classes start at the Puppy Level (6 weeks), Intermediate Obedience Level (6 weeks) and the fun Advanced Obedience Class, which includes dog agility lessons.

They have years of experience and you can tell they really care for the horses. The horses were wonderful! We heard their rescue stories and we were thankful for our time with them. They offer trail rides year round too!
