If you are looking to complete a landscaping project, I highly recommend Mountain View Landscaping. From start to finish, our interactions with Garry, Tim (site foreman), and the rest of the crew that was onsite was excellent. We had a rather larger series of projects that needed completing, and while we had a general idea of what we wanted to do, we were hoping to rely on the creativity and expertise of this company. Through the initial planning, scoping, and budgeting process, Garry was incredibly helpful. He really listened to what we were looking for, as far as look and feel, and came back with some excellent initial design ideas that allowed us to envision what the yard could be, while also taking into consideration the things that were important to us. He was very flexible, patient, and responsive as we needed time to review a few iterations before we were ready to commit to a plan. This process was excellent. When the time came to begin work in early Jan 2021, Garry introduced us to Tim, who would be the site foreman. As we were leaving some of the details of the project to be determined as the yard took shape, we were hoping to rely on Tim’s advice, expertise, and creativity to identify opportunities to take the area to the next level. He did not disappoint. Tim’s eye for detail, creativity, design, and impeccable standard for quality of work from himself, and everyone on site was a massive win for us. The team worked hard through the winter months to turn our wild yard into a backyard oasis. We still have a small amount of work to complete up front, and we will definitely be calling Mountain View Landscaping back for the next project. Thank you all.

In November 2019, we had Garry and his team from Mountain View Landscaping assess our retaining wall that was falling apart in our backyard. Garry worked with us, providing ideas based on what we wanted it to look like, and within our budget range. The end result far exceeded our visions. We were very delighted. We called Garry back in November 2020, to reconstruct our front corner yard. It looks amazing! The team kept us informed each step, and worked with us in selecting plants based on our lifestyle that would work. An informative, knowledgeable and professional team. Definitively would highly recommend Mountain View Landscaping to our friends, neighbors and family.

Wonderful team and experience having my yard updated and refurbished. The team was timely every single day, respectful of all my neighbours and traffic In the area, and they completed every aspect as discussed. They were completely flexible to changes that I made during the project completion. I would highly recommend them for big or small projects.

I commend Garry and MVL for an excellent job in extending my exposed aggregate Driveway and repairing the sidewalk in the back yard. The result looks great and Garry was very intent on ensuring that I was totally satisfied in the end.

Gary came on site and said he will provide a quote to rebuild a retaining wall. I never did receive his quote even after reminding him. I think it was because I mentioned that my insurance company will be paying the bill. In any case, if you are not interested, it would be common courtesy to just say so instead of making empty promises and making me wait for 8 days.

Had Mountain View (Gary) come out to give us a quote on some hardscaping to our yard. Took the time to meet with us and discuss the project and take all his measurements. Promised us a quote within a few days, that was 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a word since. Must be nice to have so much work that you can afford to turn down jobs, which is fine but at least have the decency to respond as you promised. Why waste our time and yours.

Gary from Mountainview landscaping turned the swamp in our backyard into a beautiful garden. Due to lack of attention to detail by the builder, no drainage was put in place when the house was built resulting in water pooling which could've caused structural damage. Gary and his team were very professional, punctual and knowledgable. They fixed the issue by digging up existing grass and claybed. Then they put in proper drainage system by tying it into our existing drain. With the amount of recent rainfall, there has been no water pooling so we can enjoy our backyard. We highly recommended their services. Thanks Gary!

So impressed with the work Mountain View Landscaping crew completed with our backyard build! Existing retaining walls, stairs and paving stone patio were completely removed, redesigned and re-installed with skill, care and attention to detail.
