★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A mix of very rideable green trails, blue moderate trails and some black diamond trails. The green trails are rideable by adults and kids who are novice and have general, basic bike skills. Buy a map from any of the local bike stores to help support trail maintenance and advocacy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location always seems to about climbing mountains (haha figures!). I am more into downhill so most trails do not appeal to me. There are maybe 3 or 4 if I take the fire road and avoid the other stuff. That said when I ride with friends it doesn't matter because its nice to have a place like this, otherwise we have to travel to sooke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot to work on technical bike skills. Unfortunately there is very little elevation change (compared to other locations on the island) so it suited more towards the cross country rider but a bigger "Enduro" bike works well too. The skills park is still new and very wet o its difficult to ride properly but it will be perfect in the dry summer. would recommend visiting if you are mountain biking in the Victoria area.
P.S. stop at Red Barn after for amazing sandwiches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome bike trails but haven't been through them all; the trails are nicely maintained. Not many single-track so you have to be aware of others going the opposite direction. Great parking with a washroom and bike wash station. It can get very crowded and busy when an event is going on. But the trails must be pretty good for events to be held here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hartland is a solid MTB trail network. The trails are old school, littered with roots and rocks. Lots of punchy climbing to get up to the modest elevation of 320m (ish). Lots of nice medium to big rolls and slabs. If you're into technical, tight and twisty trails and don't mind the punchy climbs, there are some good trails and beauty vistas.
