★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bring water and wear proper shoes, flip flops won't cut it for this trail. The terrain is sharp with lots of razor like volcanic rock you'll have to walk over. The shortcuts are a great way to hurt yourself, the official trail is steep enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the most beautiful of trails on the way up, but the view from the top is nice. The biggest plus is you can hike just about anywhere around this mountain and it's great for exercise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great hiking trail specially if you don't have poles or fancy hiking boots, or if you have a small dog or children accompanying you, as it's short and not difficult at all, with an amazing view when you reach top of the hill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve hiked this mountain twice and have taken two different routes—one that was average difficulty, and then another one that was crazy! The more difficult route takes you from the parking lot next to the arena eventually up through a very narrow, steep rocky area. I would recommend the route that starts on east boundary road if you aren’t looking for anything too sketch! Gorgeous views at the top!
