★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, I've been shopping at Moss for years and haven't had any problems. Today, I went into the store to purchase a mat. I was waiting at the cash register and the cashier said "is someone ready to check out?" in a rude tone. Next, I walked over and said "hi" to the cashier. My "hi" was ignored, and the cashier proceeded to scan my item, tell me the total and finally, ask me if I needed a bag. There was no "have a good day" or any greeting, sense of customer service or appreciation for my business. By-far one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I've ever had.
The follow up from this business was by-far unprofessional, to say the least. The mere fact that the owner responded to my queries with "we will speak to our employees to ensure they are acknowledging customers" is a tell-tale sign of this business — why are they employed then? Shouldn't customer service be emphatically emphasized?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have shopped at Moss since moving to the neighbourhood several years ago. They consistently have a fantastic selection of products and great service. I heartily recommend that everyone shop there. They have great for gifts for others, gifts for yourself, and overall house and home items, all at very reasonable prices. I look around my home and it's filled with Moss products...from patio furniture, to jigsaw puzzles, mugs, decor, and much more. And their enewsletter looks great. Support local and shop Moss!

First time I have bought from them. Website is extremely well presented. Buying experience was painless. I was called within 2 hours of placing my order to say the item I had ordered was currently not in stock but they could have it within 2-3 weeks from the USA. Offered me the choice of cancelling my order or waiting. Just over 2 weeks later I received an email saying my item had arrived and would be shipped out the next day along with the tracking number. I received better automated shipping updates from Moss Danforth than I did from their shipper.
Definitely will buy from them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing home decor and furniture store with a personal customer oriented service. The decor and furniture pieces are unique and top quality. We have purchased both small and large items such as rugs, outdoor furniture, mugs, pillows, etc. The style advice from Rob and Ottilie was excellent and we are truly happy with the service and unique items due to their high quality. Delivery was smooth and professional with Aldo. The website is easy to navigate yet you can also shop in store or even over the phone. I look forward to weekly new arrivals and the sales via email. Top notch store with interesting one of a kind pieces. A real gem on the Danforth!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After weeks of deliberation while couch shopping (and the staff indulging all my questions and couch testing!), I finally settled on a winner and couldn’t be happier. It was a struggle to get it through my door but the guys who delivered it were total pros! Looks great in the space and is very comfortable. Great experience with Moss as always.

The staff was friendly & helpful and the selection was terrific. Whoever does the purchasing for the store has great taste and a good eye! My experience was truly first-rate. I’ll definitely return and shop here again. ☺️
