Led by Hercules Galang and his team, they went above and beyond the call of duty to obtain the best terms on a mortgage. We talked with the bank agents and also with Eric Lamy, as an independent mortgage agent. Although the bank offered employee rates, Eric offered rates that were not far off. We chose Eric's slightly higher rates because even during the shopping period we could see the difference in the level of service. We thought this will translate into fewer surprises down the line. Eric was generous with his time and provided all the information that we needed. He explained our choices clearly and we were able to make informed decisions at every stage. In the end, when we needed to close a deal very fast, Eric helped us gather all the relevant documents and made sure that our mortgage is approved in time. We felt that Eric's goal is that we walk away with the best mortgage for us. We are confident that the options suit our needs and with ongoing monitoring of national bank's rates and the more personal attention, we might end up saving money by reacting to the economic changes and adjusting the mortgage at the right time. The budgeting tools and info that Eric presented helped us plan realistically.
