★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an invigorating 2 hour hike to the summit of Moose Mountain, with 7.5 km of very good trails ascending 1565 feet and great views at the summit and along the journey it is all very rewarding. Be be prepared to stop and talk to the many other friendly hikers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This mountain is a great conditioner for bigger hikes later in the year. There are some steep parts but you can summit in 2-3 hours. The last k back to the parking lot is going to test you the most.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow great hike I had to return. Low to medium hike. Easy to identify the trail. Rolling terrain so works the legs . Views are magnificent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ up moose mountain one more time to the fire lookout. this time we had taken about four hours to get to the top , i carried about 65/70# gear this time and like always a few treats like cherries, oranges ,fresh breads and tasty sausage ,interesting coffee mug etc for our generous host . There was a fair amount of smoke in the environment so i focused on typical plants /insects/critters on the mountain .hopefully you find a few of these entertaining
