Located in Southwest Manitoba, on the edge of Pleasant Valley Golf Course and Pelican Lake. Our glamping domes boast king sized beds and a queen in the mezzanine, a modern kitchenette with all the cooking necessities, full bathroom and a panoramic bay window.
About Moonlit Canopy
From the moment you arrive at Moonlit Canopy you can feel modern day life slip away. Your shoulders loosen up, your lungs expand, your ears begin to pick up...could that be a birdsong?
Moonlit Canopy offers a camping experience with a cool twist of luxury and nature. The 3 geodesic domes are perched on the slopes, nestled in the trees, each one with over 500sq ft and designed with your comfort in mind. You’ll be close to your neighbors, whether they be the people in the next dome over or the many deer, birds and squirrels that have been here long before you have.
We want you to do whatever the heck you please! Relax, refresh and just plain chill or adventure and play! Moonlit Canopy is pretty low key. No butler, no room service or restaurants on site. Our “no-frills” vibe is part of our charm, but it’s not for everyone.
We have created a piece of paradise for you. A year-round glamping experience on 1 acre at the edge Pleasant Valley Golf Course. We hope you enjoy our vision as much as we do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to visit in Manitoba if you don’t want to go Up north. This is so close, the owners are so cool. The only thing which is kinda disappointing is the wait for booking for your stay. The website is interactive but the wait is so long.
Most relaxing place I know so far.

Domes were awesome! Just mid day they were very hot! I couldn't imagine what summer would be like! The domes are at the bottom of a valley off a dirt road so lots of mud! But the rolling hills, the nice people and quiet atmosphere makes these domes very special! Only downside was you can not see the stars in the domes due to the reflection.
Hiking trails close by like Rock lake nature trail, the best scones are at the Rolling Pin and views on top Cow point were great! Would definitely do this again !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The domes at Moonlit Canopy were an incredible experience. They are comparable to the domes at Mont-Tremblanc in Montreal and better in some respects. Clean, fully-functional and beautifully designed. We enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace, the convenience of the BBQ, and the serenity of the patio. The Hot tub was the highlight for us and really drives home the incredible value of this retreat. We used it as home-base as we visited the wonderful small-town surroundings in and around the area. Rarely saw or heard the neighbors in the other domes. Truly a great experience and can't wait to go again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros! Domes have everything you need, beds were comfortable and view was great. Lake is beautiful and not a far walk.
Cons! Extremely hot with plus 15 temperatures and you have to keep the curtains closed to cool it down (which defeats the purpose of having the view). Hot tub had a heavy layer of sand at the bottom making it very uncomfortable. They also had the septic tanks emptied mid day which smelled for the afternoon - seemed odd not to to this on checkout day when no one is there from 10am-4pm.
