Interactive Play has been well recognized as a critical element in a developing child’s mental and physical well-being. With increasing concerns over excessive exposure of electronic devices or screen time to a child’s ability to develop socially, safe avenues for interactive become more important for the modernized parent.
Interactive play encourages parents to engage in free-play with their children, as well as allowing for increased opportunities of peer play and social interactions. Traditionally these necessary social situations were established by use of public playgrounds and outdoor play structures. With concerns for child safety and restrictions due to environmental conditions, there has been a substantial increase in in indoor entertainment facilities in the past five years. These facilities are becoming a vital institution in the development of regular exercise routines and are facilitating young children’s healthy growth characteristics. These playground facilities also allow for socialization of playgroups without the need for direct supervision in older ages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The socks were pricey. I could have went to Walmart and got a pack of socks for cheaper. The weekend rates were very pricey.The price should be the same Monday-Sunday.Other than those 2 issues. The kids had fun and it was very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard rumors that Monkey Bars didn't make it through Covid but was pleasantly surprised to see it open again. Online bookings of an hour at a time with a max of 5 families inside at one time. There is a check list to go through upon arrival, looking for any signs or symptoms of sickness, questions that should be asked for safety reasons,. The owner was very organized and kept on top of cleaning and wiping down all of the surfaces, continuously while we were there. Some of the activities aren't/weren't available, like the ball pit, and over-head projector, which is understandable; still a fun and clean place to play. As our hour neared it's end, we were allowed to stay even longer as there were not many other people booked for the day. I would recommend checking out the website and booking a slot. Help out or local business owners!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 5 year old daughter absolutely adores playing here. We usually stay for anywhere from one to five hours; it gives me time to study, work on other projects, and/or relax. It's also a great play date option, or an opportunity to chat with other parents. I also intend to take advantage of their date night drop in daycare and make some evening plans away from the kid! Very clean facility, safe play space, friendly staff, locally owned and operated by an amazing woman!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We absolutely love going to Monkey Bars! The staff are amazing and they make sure the equipment stays clean. If you forget to bring socks at least you had the option to buy some there if not you can go elsewhere to purchase. They also have opportunities to partake in day camps as well as you can book birthday parties. We’ve been able to enjoy both and my kids love it there! Prices are very reasonable and I love that they have the option to purchase snacks (even healthy ones) if you didn’t bring your own or the kids get hungry. It’s also a great way for parents to visit or meet new parents as well I interact with your kids. The owner is amazing and very hard working! She strives to take any negative out and make make it better. We will continue to go and have fun cause my kids love it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like it would be a great place if it weren’t for Covid. Did not feel safe there today. Staff member took her mask off more than once and older kids weren’t wearing masks at all. I will return when better measures are in place or my children are vaccinated.
Reply to your response: I’m not sure why they would be exempt from wearing a mask while sitting down? What sense is there in that? I’m also double vaccinated but am expected to wear a mask at all times (which I will gladly do). What does sitting down have to do with it?
