It’s amazing how much stuff one amasses over the years. When it comes time to sell, you want to show your home in the best light possible, which means decluttering and possibly doing some repairs or updating. Until you actually get into the thick of decluttering, you really don’t realize how much you have and how long it actually takes to determine if you want to keep it or possibly donate it, then packing and transporting the stuff to storage. Most of us are terrible and typically underestimate the time it takes, it definitely applies to selling your home. Working with Monique to develop a strategy and a realistic timeline really helped keep us focused on the goal and not get overwhelmed.
