It doesn't make any sense as they would know your broke in the first place! ? I went with MNP in Red Deer. They were wonderful and now I am officially debt free! It feels so good. I has hounded by phone, email, mail and text by the company's I owed money to. I was paying my interest only. I appreciated the information MNP taught me. I enjoyed the video I watched. They taught me skills. I had my payments set up to come out on payday. So I hardly noticed.The time flew by and I was able to pay it off early without a penalty. Did you know some places penalize you for that!!?? ? ? I think that consumer proposal sounds much nicer than declaring bankruptcy. Lastly I really liked how they wanted me to have a fun goal to work towards while paying off my debt. Something for myself like a car or vacation. Teaching me to save up for something rather than using credit. Two thumbs up guys!

I walked into the door, and I was greeted by a very professional staff who listened. They were very understanding and offered me advice and counselling to start to get my life back on track.
