★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband says he signed a consent for them to tell me he was there but they say they can't confirm if he is there or not and I have left 30 messages and I beleive he ain't getting any as I have been sitting at st Joe's for 5 hrs alone and he hadn't came and he would have if given message he wants come home also but with not getting messages he knows nothing that place is full of idiot staff but last night we were able to be connected instantly when I called how is that hmmm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever. Staff are selective of taking their favorites in. They lie about not having beds.. very unprofessional.. these staff members need retraining to say the least. The police should be looking into some staff who are known to buy/sell drugs to these street people. They are also selective about handing out toiletries and cleaning supplies..
The staff are fully aware of drug abuses in washrooms and bullying in dorms. This place is just as bad as salvation army hostile.. it should be shut down

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hardly believe as a Kitchener guy I did all three Hamilton shelters. Out of that loop for four years but this is the best shelter. Very close to amenities like Jackson Square, Five Star Bar, Ti-Cats games, and Hamilton Strip Club. Delicious food, respectful staff and clients as well. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A smaller sized shelter, compared to the Salvation Army and Chathedral. Staff try their best to work around the clients needs.I personally say it is one of the more well tuned Shelters in Hamilton. It is located at the intersection of James St. and Barton St.

For the men and women of addiction, homeless,and the working
Poor who are dealing with high rents and illegal rooms and illegal apartments,
The mission have a Open door a staff that born with a heart compassion and empathy for the people that are challenged by the current environment The downtown community needs to step their and support the Mission Services Thank you Mission Services for the work that you accomplish every day and night love you all
