Great spot on Go Home Lake. Visit often when cleaning chimneys or doing WETT inspections on cottages.

Great slips, deep water. Stable walk area's. Love the lake☺. Clean clear and not to cold.

Beautiful setting. Great views from Marina, only way into Go Home Lake cottages.

Really more like 3.5 stars. Plenty of boat and vehicle parking for clients. Small store with little selection. No gas. On site mechanic not affiliated with marina.

Minor's Bay proprietors are wonderful people. Their service is excellent, they are friendly and accommodating. 4.5 out of 5 stars!

I don't often post negative reviews, and I see many positive accounts here, but feel the need to share about our negative experience with Minors Bay as new cottage owners on Go Home Lake. When we took cottage possession, we received an invoice showing a 33% increase in slip cost as new customers vs. what the previous owners paid (and what other friends currently pay), and they applied that rate to the full year with no prorating for only being there half the summer. Now it is every business owners right to set pricing in exchange for a good or service, but how you approach a client and respond to their requests is what's really important. The reaction we received when we requested that they prorate, or honour the existing rate for the rest of 2020 was the bigger issue. Rather than discussing it, we simply received a tersely worded email notifying us of the termination of our mooring contract. After replying trying to smooth things over, we were told we could stay but would be given a worse parking location and that our rate would go up 3% every year. By contrast, when I called Go Home Lake Marina, they offered a pro-rated rental fee for the rest of the summer that beat the rate demanded by Minors Bay, and guaranteed a rate for 2021 as well. Needless to say, we switched right away and asked Minors Bay for a refund, (which they eventually sent a week later). We're not the only new owners who I've heard have experienced this, and I encourage all new GHL owners to explore both marina options before choosing.
