★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have moved from Vancouver to Calgary in 2012, and my two girls switched from very large dance school to Miniature School of Ballet and Dance. Now I can tell how lucky my girls are! The groups are small and the teachers are great. The students receive a lot of teachers’ attention and they practice more compare to a large group, as there is no line for movements practice.
Both of my girls are in competition team, and as they take ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, acro and duet and solo for competitions I have to pay for their costumes. And, believe me, I pay at least three times less then I would pay at any other school (I made a research and compared prices).
Another very important thing, from my point of view, is democracy. It is discussed with parents what competitions to take (registration fees, dates, ets), and parents’ recommendations are always welcome.
So, I highly recommend this school for your kids. You will really see the advantages when your child is enrolled in a few dances.
