Both of my kids have been attending this camp since its inception, and they both love it. The projects are interesting, the variety of different skills and projects they get to work on means that they're always engaged with something new. We've even done a couple of the activities at home, after camp because they were such big hits! Additionally, my son has special needs and can't attend without support, but this has never been a problem. Agnes and the rest of the crew have always made it an inclusive, welcoming space. This is the only time that he gets to interact with his sister in a camp or school like setting away from home, and we're really appreciative that the two were able to share this experience. Every day that week he was running to the door in the morning in anticipation of going to camp. Thanks so much for all the wonderful things you guys do. I suspect you've got at least two lifelong fans.

We discovered Mindful Makers a few years ago, and now we send our kids (now ages 8 and 13) every PD day, and to the camp twice in the summer because once doesn't feel like enough! The kids home each day relaxed and happy. I'm impressed with how much the kids have learned about planning out a project, carrying it out, and then stopping to assess and adjust things that aren't looking the way they envisioned. And while most art camps end with a giant stack of paintings or crafts that are destined for the recycling bin (we love anything our children create, but there is only so much space on the fridge), this camp is not like that. Some of these Mindful Makers art projects we will cherish forever.

It's a great summer camp. My daughter went there three times and every time it was an excellent experience for her. It's her favorite summer camp. She enjoys exploring diverse craft techniques (every year something new to learn) and feels very happy and welcome at Mindful Makers. Thank you, Agnes! She'll be returning next summer.

What a fantastic day camp for kids! This was our first year and my daughter LOVED this camp. After her first day, she already wanted to come back next summer. My husband & I were so impressed with the amount of cool projects the kids worked on and how organized this camp was. It’s so well run. And my daughter was so proud of everything she made. She just loved learning to use the sewing machine and binding her own book. Thank you & we’ll be back next summer!

Mindful Makers is an absolutely AMAZING camp. My son has gone three summers now and it is hands-down his favourite camp. As an nerdy, engineering type kid, the camp suits him perfectly. My daughter attended for the first time this past summer, and again, it was a wonderful experience. She's more crafty/creative and the camp also suited her perfectly. I highly recommend!

Agnes and her team have built a really amazing camp program. The projects are interesting and challenging enough to keep the kids engaged, but they get a ton of support from the staff. And the final products are always amazing! My two boys adore this camp and no summer would be complete without a week at Mindful Makers. I also feel incredibly comforted knowing that the groups are intimate enough that my child is never lost among a ton of kids, and that their downtime almost never involves sticking them in front of a screen. I can't say enough good things about Mindful Makers!

I enjoy attending art and crafting workshops and I have to say the Gnome Workshop (for adults) with Agnes was the best one I have ever attended! Great instruction, supportive atmosphere and loads of fun. Can't wait for the next one!

I decided to go with Mindful Makers when buying a beginner felting set as a Christmas present for my little sister. After about a week of her using it, I can say that I'm absolutely impressed with everything this kit comes with and how well organized it is. This may be my best gift to her yet! Here are some of the things that have been stand out with this kit (when compared to others like it on Etsy) and Mindful Makers: - Good assortment of different wools. Other kits I've seen are focused on supplying enough materials to create a single project. This one let's you go beyond that. - Tutorial videos that accompany the materials. These videos provide a good progression in terms of teaching basic skills and letting beginners practice those skills on projects of varying difficulty. Without this, it would've been a lot harder for my sister to get started. - Agnes has been a pleasure to communicate with. She is very quick to respond, which made the curbside pick-up process extremely easy.
