★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review is for your trucks subcontracted by Durham Region. While some of your drivers are good at their job they get paid to do, many of them are not! Let me start with one experience with myself and kids trying to cross the street to get to school and a garbage truck who was stopped, then while we were in the middle of the road just accelerated. When I asked if he didn't see us, we were verbally attacked. When I called Durham waste, they forward it to manager. I was asked why I was walking in the street...are you kidding...I crossed to get to the other side, duh! But that didn't matter, why did he accelerate when he saw us, and was the verbal attack needed? I am sure he still works there an is probably a supervisor.
Also, aren't you suppose to clean up trash? Why is there more trash on the road after you leave, than before you came. Lesson #1: trash goes in the truck, not on the road Lesson #2 : Throwing recycling bin on the edge of the curb usually ends up on the road, creating obstacles and is a hazard.
