About Miller Crossing Dental Clinic
Dr. Vincent Lam
Dr. Lam has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years in North East Edmonton. Dr. Lam grew up in Hong Kong and came to Canada for his post secondary education. He is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1982 from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. After graduation he moved to Edmonton and founded Londonderry Dental Centre. He enjoys all facets of general practice.
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with his wife Patsy and three children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys ballroom dancing, playing badminton and golf in his leisure time.

They are the only dentists who have told me the truth about what treatments I actually need and don’t perform anything unnecessary (unlike other dentists I’ve been to). I will always come back here, even though it’s a 30 minute drive. Their receptionists are also kind and reply quickly to emails!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in for an exam and had to get two fillings done. I am pretty anxious when it comes to the dentist as I've had previous experiences elsewhere that we're painful. My fillings were quick and pain free. I saw Dr Derek Lam and he explained everything throughly and his whole team was professional and gave me a great experience overall! Would highly recommend this clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best dental experience of my life. I went and saw Dr.Lam for what I thought was 2 cavities. Turns out to have been only one and the one filling was very quick and painless. I do not have coverage but they were very understanding and cost effective. Would recommend them to anyone. Front end staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things. Will definitely be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Miller Crossing for years. Dr. Wong is by far the most patient, gentle and calming dentist I have ever seen. He provides me with his most honest recommendations, which I really appreciate. I also got my wisdom teeth taken out by him while I was awake, and it was not at all painful. If there was any discomfort, he would stop to ensure that I was okay. The rest of the staff is extremely friendly, I would never go anywhere else! Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to this for over 20 years. Dentists and hygienists are very very good. 110%. Have absolutely no word can better describe their skills. I, however, feel uncomfortable with the two receptionists. They are both very knowledgeable. One of them is never friendly. It is her tone and her eye contact. She looks at you like "are you done yet?" Never a smile on her face at all. The other one used to be very friendly and kind . Now you can tell by her tone that she is annoyed by your questions. any question. I wish they bring back the receptionist before these two. Robots has warmer tone than them

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Vincent Lam is probably the most experienced, knowledgeable dentist in the Edmonton area.He explains all procedures thoroughly .I have been
a patient of his for over 40yrs. and have never had a negative visit. Most of his staff are friendly and helpful.
On a recent visit I was shocked by a member of his staff at the front desk.
I lost a large part of my hearing due to an industrial accident.
On the last visit ,one of the staff at the front desk asked me a question. I did not hear her and asked her to please repeat.At this time she put her head down to the gap in the plexiglass and shouted in an unfriendly tone the question again.I was totally embarrassed, so I stepped back a few paces and answered her in a slightly elevated tone.I did discuss this with Dr.lam.
This person has total disregard for clients with disabilities.
I hope by reporting this I will feel better as it has made me feel terrible..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going here for about 10 years and my dentist Vincent Lam and hygienist Linda have been absolutely amazing. I can't say the same thing for the front receptionist, especially the Asian lady. Arrogant, rude, and a terrible attitude. I'm not sure why such great Dentists would hire such a terrible receptionist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far the best dental clinic anywhere. I have been seeing Dr. Wong for 12 years and he has been the best! If you have a fear of dentists, you won't after seeing him. He is very careful, reassuring, and does fantastic work. I have had root canals, crowns, etc. All of the staff there are wonderful!
