I just got transferred to this place this year. My dr. that I was with my whole life retired. I am lucky to have to option to come here! My doctor is Dr. Hanna, she is nice so far. I only talked with her once through this whole pandemic don’t really know her much at all! I’m looking forward to a in person appointment her once it is safe to do so. I have called the receptionists more then once in one day! They don’t answer the phones it’s always busy, and when they do pick up they put u on hold! I was waiting outside the clinics doors for 10 mins as i waited there I saw the front desk lady just sit there and not even answer any calls which I found strange, the line is always so busy so why can’t I hear any phones ringing? why isn’t she on the phone? It took her a while to even get up and answer the door. I understand how it must be busy and what not but if you aren’t going to answer the phones maybe this dr office should make it so you can book your appointments online. No one wants to bother calling. Most of my family go here as well and say the same thing. This is ridiculous! Get better receptionist. This is people’s health at risk and we can’t get a hold of our family Doctors. My Son, mother, sister and uncle are forced to go to the emergency room in a pandemic. When this all could be fixed with answering the phones and making an appointment with their family doctor. This is honestly so sad how things work here! I came from a doctors office where it was it own practice. My receptionist was amazing, and caring and knew who you were. This is just sad how the system is turning out.

I cannot speak to their efficiency answering the phones but I do know they have implemented a new booking system and hopefully the phone issue is resolved soon. That being said, I have worked with physicians all over Ontario and Dr.Hanna's work with my mom (her actual patient) has been hands down some of the best medical care I have seen. She is compassionate and never makes you feel like she is in a rush. She listens and will answer your questions (even if you ask the same one once or twice). The specialists my mom has seen have also applauded how thorough Dr. Hanna has been in getting diagnostic tests and imaging to help in Dx. She listens, and truly cares about her patients. You can see it in the way she practices. If I lived closer I would probably see her myself. She is always willing to take time out of her day to talk to you if you need clarity on something or have a serious issue. Great Doctor and HIGHLY recommend (if shes accepting new patients)

I often do google reviews and am very good at leaving a balanced review. I compliment great service and I share poor experiences. My parents have been patients at Millpond Medical Centre in Alliston for years and I have stood by and listened to them complain about the inability to get through to their doctor. Every-time they need to make an appointment, they struggle to get anyone to answer a phone. If someone does answer the phone, then they are put on hold for 10 to 15 minutes. This is ridiculous. Clearly, they do not read google reviews because if they did, they would see the number of complaints that they have about this same issue. It is such an easy fix. Replace the people that they have answering the phones or at a minimum, put minimum service standards in place around answering the phone. This is business 101! Seniors should not have to struggle like this to see their doctor. Shame on you for treating our seniors like this. Just answer the phones. It is now 3:15pm and I have dialed 4 times and the message you get is "the customer you just dialed is currently not available". So unprofessional.

I have had the pleasure of being seen by one of the doctors at millpond medical, however the admin has not only made it very challenging to book an appointment, just recently stirred a beez nest with my son's father by not checking her appointment schedule. I can say I had a very polite lady book my Appointment. It was a phone scheduled appointment, which was completed at the time it was booked. The reception, not calling the parent who booked and attended the appointment, calls the alternate and claims we missed the appointment. I called to address this issue and waited for three callers to get through to be told that this call cannot be completed to leave a message. Very unprofessional and malicious, especially when child is on weekabouts and communication is already conflicts at times. I should hope reading that there are literally no good reviews on the staff at this office, that something be done and get a qualified person for the position.

My family became patients of Dr Mahdi this year she has been a great edition to our health care team. The reason I gave this clinic 3 stars is because of the horrible admin / front desk staff (minus one who has always been a pleasure when we check in). They are rude on the phone and give incorrect information and directions so they can minimize their work load. They have told me to let my childs health get worse then take him to emerge ? I get busy schedules and do not expect special treatment...but just no...You should never give that advice to a worried parent. The front office admin are probably one of the most important parts of a patient's expirence as they are the first people we speak with and have to go through them for everything other than diagnosing. This clinic needs to do an overhaul as these staff members make the whole office look bad.

My Wife Theresa and I were so lucky to find such a outstanding Doctor. Dr Mahmood has such great old fashion bed side matter, that he makes it easy to talk to him. Dr Mahmood listens to to his patients, and you don’t get the feeling that you are just a number. His staff at the front desk are a pleasure, Paige and all the staff go out of there way too assist you. The staff make it easy to see a doctor. Don and Theresa Watson

Always a positive experience at this office. It can be difficult at times to get through on the phone first thing in the morning when everyone is calling for same day appointments. Office takes lunch from 1-2 as well so the phones are not answered during that time. It is a busy office but they have always reached out to me to book checkups for my child and book my prenatal appointments which is very much appreciated. Also having the lifelabs in the same building is handy as I have had issues with having proper requisition forms and the receptionist went down personally to sort it out for me. If you need a same day appointment call right at 9am and expect to wait on hold for a few minutes.
