★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny parkette @ the end of the road. Table to play checkers or chess. And 2 benches. Beautiful views of the lake and the city. Benches face east one of the best places to watch the sun rise. Beautiful night views of the downtown core. Good place to watch the geese.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little parkette is the perfect little place to watch the sun come up or go down over Lake Ontario. There’s a chess/checkers board here (bring your own markers), and a bench... but not much else. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sit and relax, read a book... this is it. It’s located at the south end of Miles Road, right on the water. Just a note that if it’s a hot summer day, it’s possible that there may be an algae bloom and it may not smell the greatest - this is true of the entire lakefront at times, though.
