He was able to diagnose what was wrong and perform 3 PRP treatments on it over the course of 4 months. Considering the circumstances he was able to make it the most pain free experience as possible while educating me on the science behind it. I found the treatments to be very effective and speed up the healing process considerably. It was a much better alternative than having surgery. I would highly recommend PRP treatments on any kind of injury before considering surgery.

Now that I have retired from competition, shoulder would randomly it would drop out of the shoulder socket in my day to day activities. It was either a third surgery or start trying alternative treatments. I gave Prolo a shot,by the second treatment my shoulder felt more stable and secure then I can ever remember. After the 6th treatment, I no longer notice a difference between my right and left and that is pretty exciting.

I visited Dr Milanovich in Courtenay that May and had a shot, Dr David called me that evening to see how I was doing, great follow up. The pain in my knee was 90% gone in 48 hours, amazing. I commercial fish so before leaving in June I had another treatment. It has been 13 months since the two shots and I have not had any pain in my knee worth mentioning, however a week ago this May I decided to have another treatment as I leave again for fishing. Dr Milanovich is awesome and if you have issues as I did I would certainly try the PRP treatment's.

When he started his treatments, he was experiencing a lot of debilitating knee pain. Today, he is a new man. Dr. Milanovich is very friendly, he uses very careful aseptic technique in his PRP treatments, and has a great deal of compassion for his patients. My work requires mobility, and I was quite concerned with growing pain in my knee and outside foot. Was it going to affect my ability to perform my work ?. It led me to see my family doctor about options for pain relief, I was already on medication for pain and felt I may need cortisone or other short term help. He suggested I try PRP first as a possible regenerative approach, and suggested that there was a local clinic. Dr. David Milanovich started PRP treatments 1 per month for 3 months. The results were ....WOW. After the third treatment I have no pain, I have stopped all pain medication and I am feeling confident in my knee and foot treatments.

I tried rest and several therapies from physiotherapist and chiropractors. Nothing seemed to be helping. I was extremely sad to have to miss out on my favorite activities including climbing and biking. After 2 treatments of prolotherapy from David I could move my shoulder in all directions with no more pain and it was feeling much stronger. T	Tony Turk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ - I injured my shoulder late last summer and after a few months my shoulder just kept on getting worse , so bad that the pain transitioned to my wrist , the pain was constant . I did have X-rays , blood tests and a MRI , which confirmed I did have a type of arthritis . My GP suggested a series of cortisone injections and possibly surgery to repair the shoulder. Everyday life was a struggle including sleep , it became so bad I had to quit work . But fortunately I found Doctor Dave and Prolotherapy he was able to first relieve the pain and secondly he was able to bring my wrists and shoulder back to where I can function a normal life (and return to work ). Doctor Dave’s caring mannerism and experience vastly contributed to my healing process , I’m not sure what I would have done without his help . So in closing, if you have soft tissue injuries I would highly recommend Doctor Dave and his services …Thanks again Doctor Dave !
