An amazing park beautiful beaches...yes beaches as the park has 5 which ranges in sizes. A nice off leach shallow dog beach with fenced in area. Lot sizes range but ours was large and had buffers on both sides, and backed into a wooded area. Nature trails are well marked. A disk golf course which was fun to play.. We loved our stay at Mikisew.

This park is amazing! The camping lots are a good size (we camped in the 400s) with forest area in between the lots. The beaches are great, with sandy beaches and nice swimming areas. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. A special shout out to Scott and the girls at the park gate entrance. Thanks for making our stay so great! South River and Powassan are a short drive away for groceries or beer etc. We found the people very welcoming and friendly there. A must visit is Crystal Caves. An amazing place full of gems, rocks, fossils and crystals. The owners are super nice and have put together their special finds to showcase.

Absolutely beautiful place to go and camp! I wish I could give it 5 stars but our campsite flooded for multiple nights! There is a few good trails for walking to keep you busy, so pack your hiking shoes!

We camped here in October, Thanksgiving long weekend. 4 star is only because it is much smaller than other campgrounds we have visited but the actual campsites are very big and spacious. Not enough maple trees so we didn't get all the fall colors but lots of Yellow :). Not too many people and mostly RV campers at this time of the year so the bathrooms were clean. They also have showers and laundry services. Nice woodsy trails as well as disc golf path β›³. The beach is decent sized as well, they ha 2 small beaches. I would definitely recommend as it was a different camping experience especially at this time of the year.

A beautiful, quiet park to appreciate the splendor of autumn! Eagle lake is beautiful. You can rent canoes and paddleboards here. The trails we were able to hike were wonderful. The other trails suffered from the recent rains so we were unable to do a couple of the trails. There is so much to see and do here. We will be back next fall!

Beautiful park! Pine campgrounds are not as private but still gorgeous. Nice beaches, awesome view, great hiking trails, boating, paddling, leash free dog park, disc golf, beach volleyball - this park has pretty much everything!

We recently visited this campground as a somewhat last min decision and were pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the park itself is quite clean with nice showers and comfort station. The out house style toilets are never my favorite but as far as they go I found them decent and they seemed to be cleaned as well. The actual lots vary, we loved the huge tree in the middle of ours to set up our tarps/ tent and it wasn’t a small space either. We did however find it to be lacking in privacy as there is next to no foliage on the ground to separate the camps sites. If surrounding campers use floodlights or any bright lighting (which I’m not sure your allowed to use but I don’t know for sure) it will beam right into your site if it is aimed in your direction. The way the fire pits are arranged kind of exasperate this issue as well. Nice big fire pits though, ours had a large metal grate that you could lift over the fire itself which was nice. They do not have any washing stations though so you are essentially doing your dish washing on your own campsite. I didn’t find there was a lot of bugs at all, we also went at a time that was mostly drizzling and cloudy making the water not as inviting as one would like. But the three beaches are very small, with people camping out under sun shades in the small amount of space were the sun is actually hitting the beach so that’s not great. Parking is limited as well. Still a very pretty lake view with lovely little islands in the distance. Overall the scenery is lovely, quiet and the beautiful little squirrels, chipmunks and bird varieties make the place extra special. We had a very good time and enjoyed walking the trails. Highly recommend
