He has had lots of experience in car repair, working for some of those larger companies. Now he is operating his own shop, and his mission is simple: to provide big-shop quality and atmosphere without the big-shop rates. And without the small-shop sketchiness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was recommended to Mike by a family friend and was left disappointed by the quality I received. After my transmission was rebuilt, I learn that it's ready to pick up however whoever was parking my 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix without a scratch on it ends up hitting my mirror. In which Mike had so kindly taped it to my car and promised to find another, a week later than he told me my transmission would be done. Took my car back to Mike which was obviously a mistake because what I've learned now is that the valve body was damaged and they hadn't repaired it. Mike continued to tell me that the transmission was "re-learning itself" a 3.1l v6 . What they did to my car is a perfect example of how this place is being run. Hopefully people read this and I prevent anyone from going through what I had to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike knows what he's doing. He talked to me about my 2014 Jeep and I explained to him that I drive kids for my social work job and I need it to be reliable for there safety. He took time out of his day to look over it and tell me exactly what it would take to fix and the cost. I'm super excited to go pick it up tomorrow and the stress he's taken off my mind. I will be recommending him to everyone I know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall disappointed with my experience with Mike The Mechanic. After coming highly
recommended, I took my car into him. They did an inspection and fixed a couple of problems I was having with my vehicle. They were looking into some electrical issues and had my car for over a week, with very little feedback about was going on. Finally I had to just go pick up my car because they could not figure out what was going on yet and gave me no feedback or updates about what they were checking. Was very frustrating. I was going to overlook that bc of the trusted recommendation I got to go see him. I recently called for a quote to replace a headlight. He told me my bumper would have to be taken off and there was quite a bit of labour involved and gave me a high quote. Turns out my bumper did not need to be taken off and my brother was able to replace my headlight in under 10 minutes. I would recommend getting a second opinion before taking your vehicle here. Disappointed unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having my truck at another mechanic for weeks without receiving any work and being told I needed to replace the entire engine, I took it to Mike for a second opinion. He diagnosed the problem (broken rocker arm) and had it fixed the same day I brought in the truck. Not only was the service incredibly fast, it was honest and affordable. Shop literally saved me 1000’s of dollars and a boat load of stress when he just as easily could have taken me to the cleaners. Recommend 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest, trustworthy, straightforward shop with very fair pricing. They won't do/recommend work that isn't necessary (and will actually steer you away from unnecessary stuff), and they'll spend the time to answer all of your questions, even if you're a DIYer who is extra cautious and inquisitive and who doesn't typically trust your vehicle to professionals. About the closest you can get to a trusty small-town mechanic experience and relationship without having to leave the city and without having to pay savage urbanized prices.
I highly recommend this company! I've used them at least three times now, including a most recent major maintenance + minor repair visit that would've cost easily over $5K at a dealer; Mike's cost less than half of that!
Great value. Great service. Exemplary company. You won't regret going here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast, honest and affordable. It's pretty hard to find a mechanic that's all three and Mike is one of them. Brought my first car here and have had a lot of work done to get it running well. Takes the time to explain what's being done which I appreciate as an aspiring mechanical engineer. No high pressure sales tactics at all (he will try to talk you out of repairs you don't need).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an excellent place to accomplish any technical mechanical task to simply changing tires.
Great knowledgeable staff who do there absolute best accommodate your wishes. Mike explains the issues, gives options, explains things that will need attention later on. You can store your winter or summer tires without having to bring them in for a change of seasons. They are are one stop vehicle repair shop. We have friends and family come here for the past 2 years without any complaints, just great friendly service.
