★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service find somewhere else to do it! Apparently they don't have time to swap a 2 3/8 ball to a 2-inch ball and charge a customer a fee like most places would. They said "unless it just needs an impact gun I'm not interested in doing it and spending a bunch of time trying to turn wrenches" Super disappointed since I was referred to them by another business.
I'll make sure to let that business know what the outcome was.
Top things off I was going to get electronic trailer brakes installed in my truck from there and also see if they're willing to put airbags in.
Before I got to that point I was already turned down for the small job guess they'll lose the other big jobs.

I just finished replacing the brake system on my trailer, sourced the parts all over the internet to get the best price thinking I'll save all kinds of money. When purchasing a dust cap at Mid Island, I asked what the brake assembly would cost. To my surprise, it was the same price as the best websites, and considerably cheaper than Amazon or Lordco. Next time I'll just go to Mid Island and save me the hassle and shipping time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop was recommended to us by Wellington Garage after we purchased an old travel trailer in Nanaimo.
Kolton went out of his way, checked over, rewired the lights / brakes on the old travel trailer travel we purchased. He picked up our pathfinder and installed electric brake option so all was safe for towing over the Malahat. Kolton is a get the job done type of person. If I lived in Nanaimo I would visit his shop more often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I bent my boat trailer axel in the busiest part of the season these guys got me back out on the water. Kolton is the guy to ask for, he was fantastic! They made me a new custom axel faster than the guys at Highliner Trailer would even get back to me. I'm super happy with the quality of the workmanship and the price was great. Here's to shop'n on the island.
