After a horrible experience at the neighboring Super 8, we came here. Amy gave us great service. Rooms are clean. Food from the bar was great. Definitely we will have another 'Staycation' here. Well done staff.

Quick check in/out, room was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was fresh and hot, and the dining area was well maintained by staff. Overall great stay will return.

While it is a bit more expensive then some other hotels, it’s worth it. The room is modern, comfortable and clean. The breakfast had great quality choices and quality hot coffee. I’m only going to stay here when in Lloyd.

Had a booking approved and ready to go, all I needed to show was the confirmation number. They then chose, when we arrived, to let me know that they needed another visa although my debit visa was said to be enough online. Left my pregnant wife, 6 year old child, and myself looking for another place to stay. Management was decent but still wouldn't accommodate us.

Modern clean hotel. Book online, you get a better rate. Rooms are good, not as large as some, but comfortable, and have everything you need. Breakfast was included, nothing special but good basic breakfast. Lots of hotels available in Lloydminster, but this looked to be about the best.

Microtel is a basic hotel for a fair price. Now that said, the staff here were excellent, the hotel and facilities were neat, clean and well maintained. Rooms were also clean and well maintained.There is a small lounge with a limited food and drink menu. We had several food selections and all tasted great. In the morning there is a free breakfast with a decent selection, which was also very well done and frankly more than expected. Very happy with our stay and the price.

I am writing as an Ex-Employee. I was hired as a room checker, paid 1/4 of my shift as such and assigned full-time Housekeeping supervisor duties after 2-3 very vague days of training never offered Supervision wage, just "extension of room checker wage" after 2.5 weeks of balancing this new roll ...... as my Hospitality experience is 7+ years, I was all for it! I loved the challenge, personally I love the property and worked extensively hard to show my dedication .. however I was only the Head Housekeeper while Mandy was gone properly training other employees at another location.. I was used in short form. There was a point that I had gained some communication with my housekeeping staff that, Mandy was back in town redirecting them completely unknown to me. I was expected to tend to all the the individual employees needs at all times, as well as ALL ROOM information and needs of guests on an off duty basis as well as sort through the days being short staffed, which included and not limited to performing my own duties also, which I did. My personal results unfortunately were a shoulder injury to my main arm. The manager neglected to file the initial paperwork I'm which was required to get me on track and back to work, when they did offer me work again ( 5 weeks later ) it was no less than duties that caused the injury, like pulling laundry from rooms... and ...polishing silverware?? and whatever else had to be done. I everything and than nothing to that company. Big time demotion and disrespect on Mandy and Mathews part. I feel walked on, used and left behind. Do not recommend for Employment of you have any form of true dedicated skills or professional mindset.

I had a great stay, the staff where most wonderful, the room was sparkling clean, and the beds were super comfy. The next morning, the breakfast was really good. Such a great price for what they offer! If I need a place to crash in Lloyd, here is where I will be coming!
