Michelle Rasmussen RMT is a massage therapy clinic located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

The clinic provides advanced therapeutic and relaxation massage in a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment.

I cater to clients of all ages including children, adults and seniors. The services include a variety of massage techniques that are designed to relieve the pain and stress related to day to day living, while aiding in the rehabilitation of physical injuries.

About Me

I offer the highest quality of care to my clients. I am friendly and knowledgeable and care about all aspects of your treatment. I will customize each treatment to meet your specific needs by incorporating a variety of assessment and treatment techniques that are best suited to you as an individual.

As part of my service, I will provide you with knowledge of self-administered pain management techniques such as stretching and strengthening exercises and the use of heat or cold therapy, which will help you get the most out of each treatment.

THERAPIST:

Michelle is a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at the Career Development Institute (CDI) in Thunder Bay; and has been in practice since 2006. Michelle specializes in various massage techniques to be used in relaxation or treatment environments. Through her time spent at CDI she learned numerous techniques including swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial therapy, pregnancy massage, lymphatic drainage and hydrotherapy. Michelle also has experience with paraffin wax and salt glow treatments to increase circulation and tissue health.

Michelle graduated with highest academic standing and an honours diploma.   She also received the Professional Standard Award of Merit through her work in the Massage Therapy program.

Michelle is an active member of the Ontario Massage therapy Association (OMTA) as well as a Registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
