About Balance Chiropractic - Dr. Paul Rooney & Dr. Abby Remus
Dr. Remus was born and raised in Thunder Bay. At a young age, she was drawn to sports and movement of all forms. As a former athlete and someone who can always be found moving, she has experienced the benefits of chiropractic care first hand. Abby started her journey to help others by obtaining an Honors Bachelors of Kinesiology from Lakehead University in 2017. She then enrolled in the Doctorate of Chiropractic program at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Throughout her time there she did extra certifications and training in Motion Palpation, Active Release Technique, Dynamic Taping, and Graston. Over the next 4 years of living in the Twin Cities, she was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with many high-level NHL and NFL athletes. She does not only work with athletes but is a firm believer that everyone can benefit from chiropractic care. She has also done extra education in pediatric, prenatal, and postpartum chiropractic techniques. Her passion is to provide evidence-based care to as many people as possible. What started off as a natural gravitation towards athletics has now developed into a deep passion to help others take their health into their own hands.

He told me things I never shared....for example he asked if I had been in a car accident where I may have had a whiplash...and dated it accurately. He also knew that I may have had polio as an infant and again was accurate. Have been in Chiropractic care 20+ years because he proved beyond a doubt that it is an effective treatment for our bodies.

I have a long history accessing chiropractic care and this visit rates up there with one of my best experiences.

I walk in sore and in need of an adjustment but, as soon I get inside I'm always greeted by Brenda with the biggest smile and friendly conversation. Then I see Paul and he is equally friendly and always spends as much time as neccessary without rushing and makes sure that you leave feeling great. I would strongly recommend Dr. Paul Rooney to anyone looking for an excellent chiropractor.
