★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am using an anonymous account to remain private. I went to see Michelle but did not find her approach helpful. I was hoping to get help for living with a chronic illness and depression.The approach given was to try to ignore the chronic illness, and think of things that made me happy instead. I was hoping for guidance about how to navigate the new diagnosis instead but was told to ignore it. I can not just ignore the physical symptoms of my illness on a daily basis, and think of other happy things when symptoms are taking over my life. It felt clinical and not very understanding or emotionally supportive. Perhaps she would be better for those with general anxiety and depression, but she was not a good match for me personally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Michelle Coulombe at Burnaby Heights Integrative HealthCare Ind. Since working with her from a car crash I had in 2018, she has helped me so much to get out of the darkness, both physically and mentally. She hears my concerns each time and talks about what's the best things to do with my worries. She is experienced, informative, and knowledgeable and always makes sure that we address all of my concerns before closing the session. I feel so lucky that she is my counselor.
