★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Michael's the best! I booked a session with him for my actor's headshots and was more than pleased. Booking was a breeze, he responded in a timely manner and had GREAT communication. He's super professional and made me feel comfortable. The pictures came out AMAZING, definitely my favourite ones yet. I 100000% recommend Michael for your photography needs, you won't regret it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, this is the very first time I have taken professional photos-needed it to start my acting portfolio. As a woman in my mid-forties, I was nervous, didn't know how to pose...but Michael showed me different poses, was able to make me feel comfortable and confident during the session, and reassured me that I was doing a great job. Not only that, but the end result was amazing! Such fantastic photos and never thought I could do that well and look that good! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Michael was very responsive since the first conversation we had. Made our 1on 1 zoom lessons simple and to the point. Gave great advice about what he believed I can improve on my photos and explained in detail how he finds the best angle and lighting for a shot. He answered all my questions in depth. We even went over the agreed time but he didn't rush to finish until he had finalized editing the photo we were working on. At the end he sent me the full recording of the lesson for my future reference. I would recommend anyone who is passionate about photography to reach out to Michael for lessons. You will not regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best photographers in Ottawa. I have shot with Dupe several times and every time is better than the last. I admire his creativity & passion for photography. Always very professional and his editing skills are some of the best I’ve ever seen. I have recently even taken a class of his for editing. Would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He used the Holocaust Memorial as a backdrop for an Instagram photoshoot. Totally inappropriate and he doesn't understand that what he is doing is wrong. He also deletes comments and blocks anyone who calls him out. Totally oblivious. Rather than using it as a learning experience, he has doubled down on his word which does not say much since he has horrible grammar and spelling. I would give 0 stars if possible but it's good knowing he can't delete these reviews which will give true insight to the type of "business" he is running. 0/100.
UPDATE: now he's playing the victim on his Instagram account. He is sorry that he got called out. Clearly has no Jewish friends or family because there is no way anyone would try to behave in this way. His followers are disagreeing with the backlash to which he always likes/comments leading many to believe that he has no remorse for his poor decision making. Being a mature adult means owning up to your mistakes, admitting you're wrong but we're not quite there yet. Personally, I would not associate with an anti-Semite but I will leave that decision to the reader and decide if that is what you think is best for your own image.

I recently shot with him to build onto my portfolio for modeling and without a doubt he one of the most talented photographers that I have worked with in my modeling career. He is so fun to work with, I felt very comfortable behind the camera, and my photos turned out amazing. I definitely recommend! <3 Looking forward to shooting with him again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Michael collects money from clients and doesn’t deliver and when you try to talk to him about he’s very disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend this business to my worst enemy honestly, this is the type of people that give other service providers a bad name. He breached the terms of our contract multiple times and he doesn’t care. When you tell him to do something he does something completely different and offers unsolicited business advice to justify his actions and also starts telling you about how expensive his camera and time are. If I could give a zero star review this would be the person for it, stay away from this person and their business.
