We went with Mi Casa Home Inspections because Corey offered us a great price and because his good reviews promised a quality inspection. Corey was half an hour early and wasted no time in getting to work. He was diligent and worked hard to get a good understanding of the internal workings of the house. On a Thursday night before the May long weekend, my dog was sprayed by a skunk. Needless to say, our house smelled terrible. On the Friday morning we rented a hydroxyl machine. We had it running for a few hours, and it was helping with the smell a little, but I knew it was going to take DAYS to get the smell out and I couldn’t stand it. After doing some research, I learned that an ozone machine would get the job done much faster. Friday afternoon I called Corey & explained my situation. At first he stated that he wouldn’t be able to come with the ozone machines till Sunday as he was currently at another job, and had plans to go camping for the weekend. He sensed the desperation in my voice & said he’d be able to come with the machines that day around dinner time. Corey arrived right on time (maybe even a few mins early). He brought 5 machines with industrial/commercial power, 2 huge fans and set everything up in no time. He was even careful to make sure I removed the plants from my home (as ozone can be harmful to them). We left the machines/fans running overnight & the next morning when we returned, it was AMAZING!! No more skunk smell!! There was an ozone odour, but nothing that opening some windows couldn’t take care of in under 30 mins (and it actually smelled way better than skunk). Corey even sprayed a wonderful scented fog throughout, just for an extra little zap of that fresh clean smell. Corey was professional, friendly, sympathetic, responsive, on time, thorough, and over all AMAZING!! I highly recommend Corey and will definitely use his services again (hopefully I won’t need to) no more skunks!! Thanks so much Corey!! I hope you enjoy camping!!

Corey was excellent, arrived early. And was very thorough, explained his findings in person and was very prompt at sending detailed documents . We have used him twice as the first property inspection found some issues and didn't work out for us. We where very happy with both of his inspections and he made it an easy decision for us on our new home , we are confident with our purchase because of his thorough inspection and reports. Was flexible and able to squeeze us in both times on a short notice . Will definitely recommend to family and friends .

We had a great experience with Corey, being first time buyers we weren't sure what the process would be like but Corey talked us through every aspect of the home inspection and made us feel comfortable straight from the beginning. He was early for our appointment and had already done the roof inspection. Once inside the house he went through every detail and explained to us what he was checking. Very easy to communicate with. He also had the home inspection report sent to us along with photographs the next morning.
