The glued-down hardwood floors in our condo had to be replaced because a leak upstairs caused water damage. Metrotown Floors were referred to us by the restoration contractor. The job didn't go perfectly - these things seldom do, but Metrotown Floors did an A+ job starting from first contact right through to final resolution of minor deficiencies. The Sales staff were very helpful in explaining the process and helping us to find the hardwood that would give us the look and feel we wanted. We didn't try to match the old hardwood - we went for a new look, and they helped us find something that was just right. When we called them back after completion to fix a deficiency, they were courteous, prompt and very helpful. It was a team effort with the sales leader, the in-store assistant, and the installation and adjustment crew all friendly, helpful and seeking to satisfy us 100%. I would not hesitate to recommend Metrotown Floors and their staff for your project.

I would highly recommend Metrotown Floors and Interiors for your next renovation project. We had been debating whether to re-design and renovate our tiny townhouse kitchen for years. Finally, I looked up Metrotown Floors and Interiors online because they sold the KitchenCraft cabinets we already had in our kitchen. Thomas one of their kitchen designers called back right away and made an appointment to measure the kitchen. Terri-Ann also was very helpful giving us ideas and samples for flooring and tiling. They both spent over an hour measuring, discussing design ideas and graciously talking with my three demanding tiny children and my father. Thomas ended up designing a beautiful and creative plan for our kitchen and was so helpful giving us quotes for different product and labour choices, depending on which part we chose to do ourselves. We were likely going to sell our townhouse in the next year, so we wanted to choose a renovation that was neutral and not too expensive. Thomas gave great advice on a budget-friendly renovation that would be attractive and neutral for the real estate market. I was so amazed at their professionalism, their genuine kindness and helpfulness and their helpful but low-pressure service that I did not even look at any other places to compare quotes even though we had a very limited budget. I have heard so many stories about difficult renovations and frustrating contractors who were disingenuous, not honest about timelines, or not helpful the whole way through. The cost at Metrotown Floors seemed reasonable, and I figured the superior service was invaluable when you are undertaking a project that has the capacity to be extremely inconvenient and frustrating for you and your family. As it turns out, right before we were about to order the kitchen cabinets, we ended up buying a town house and have only a couple weeks to sell our own place, so we have chosen not to do the renovation. I feel terrible, but Thomas was so gracious and understanding even though after all his work we were not able to give them our business. Their company seems to prioritize excellent service and reviews to generate business, as opposed to manipulating their clients with hidden or extra fees for every extra service. This is so refreshing in the renovation and building world when it is common to feel taken advantage of and ripped off. If we have the energy to undertake any renovation work on our new place after moving, I will choose to work with them again.

Dealing with Thomas, Byron and Al from Metrotown Floors + Interiors for our kitchen reno really put my mind at ease. I had a vision of what I wanted but concerned about how things would all fit. Our home is older and the format made it difficult to make certain things fit. My biggest fear was having something designed and slapped together with little thought of the details. I experienced this with my mother's kitchen (she had done elsewhere) and was unhappy with the result. Things like a ridiculously tiny cabinet to fit a tight area or cabinets too high for my little mother, show there wasn't enough thought in the design. This is the exact opposite experience I had with them. Thomas will come up with a concept for you and work with you until you are happy with the result. He was very patient with me and had good input on the design, rather than merely someone who just drafts up a bland layout. As a result I am SO HAPPY with my new kitchen. I think it really pays to have a good designer/consultant for your renovation as anyone can then do the material and install. But that being said I was really happy with the choice of cabinet material and the installer Dmitri was also excellent. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs a new kitchen.
