Metro does not have the most competitive prices, so I would only recommend shopping here if you have things on your grocery list on sale that you can back reference on the Flipp app. Other than that, just go to No Frills, Food Basics, FreshCo or Value Mart

I am beyond disappointed in this location. I’ve never had such poor customer service from a Metro and I am quite honestly very disappointed on the way perhaps this location trains and or hires their staff. If you have a few seconds to read this please do. As well, please go to another location and save your time. Or if you do go to this location please make sure you receive help from someone who is passionate about treating people respectful. To start off, I would like to point out that my task for coming in to metro at this location was to purchase a roast. As I began to look at the meat I had noticed that there were only a few roasts out that were filled with an excessive amount of fat. I kindly went over to the employee (Jazmine) who was deep on her phone and who had been part of the food department and was shocked by her lack of customer service. After saying excuse me and asking her a question I immediately felt negative energy that perhaps I was interrupting and or bothering her as she was deeply invested in her phone and I had felt that perhaps I was less then compared to her phone. Perhaps metro allows their employees to play on their phones while working? Furthermore, after getting off her phone she refused to check in the back and insisted that there were no more in the back. She was very lethargic and after finally looking she had said that there were only two left and had come out to show me. Sadly, the roasts were filled with fat which I understood was not her fault. Then I asked if she was positive that there were no more in the back. Her response was very rude as she had an extremely poor attitude and stated that she was positive there were no more in the back and that she had looked everywhere and spoke to someone. Further, I thanked her for checking for me but what came next was extremely frustrating, disappointing and shocking! All of sudden, another employee who was working had came out with a cart with approximately 10 roasts. As I quickly glanced at Jazmine she had immediately turned bright red which in my eyes meant that she was perhaps caught in a massive lie. Honestly, this disappointed me the most as I never thought Jazmine or any employee at Metro would treat customers the way she did. I am starting to question whether or not metro is somewhere I should shop. This was the only place I came for meat and would highly suggest metro, but after having this poor experience I feel that I should take my service elsewhere. As stated under the qualification to work at metro one shall be “ interested in assisting customers and are passionate about the food industry”. As well, it states that an employee shall have “Good product knowledge and attention to detail”. As shared above these are two very important qualifications that an employee should have as stated by Metro which sadly Jazmine had a lack of. Perhaps the next step would be for someone to watch and analyze how Jazmine treats customers as I am sure I am one of many customers who were treated poorly from Jazmine.

Lots of variety for vegetarians. Good selection of products overall. Sometimes the produce is poor

Nice clean store and friendly staff. Produce is decent too, typically fresh. They have good expanding organic options. One thing: wish they'd stock an affordable but healthy mayo, the kind not made with canola or other unhealthy oil.

Decent store, looked clean and organized. Not to big like some grocery stores. Felt very comfortable shopping there.

Was short on time so grabbed a rotisserie chicken combo. For $13.99 you get a chicken, a salad, and a huge container of potato wedges. Excellent service, friendly staff.

Can we talk about the bakery!!!!!! Omg! Cheese buns! Pizza buns! Always freshly made in the morning! My favorite place to stop in the morning! Not to mention the store is always clean and products are always stocked! Never a disappointment! Happy Shopping everyone!
