★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company’s lack of professionalism is absolutely VILE. I have just moved to Toronto for school and looking for a rental. I met with Elias Gergi (in person), a leasing agent for 135 Tyndall Ave and began my application with him and was told I would be able to move in August 16th. August 16th has come and gone and apparently the property manager had no idea I even applied! To make matter worse this specific apartment building isn’t even owned by MetCap anymore, yet I still had to make my money order out to them. MetCap WHERE IS MY MONEY! I have called the head office only for them to pawn me off to different connecting calls where every single person tells me to contact Elias. Yet all of a sudden his phone is off and no one is replying to my emails. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY I’m stuck now in motels trying to find something move in ready because clearly it’s not going to be with MetCap like I was led to believe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked at 260 Richmond head office location. Toxic environment! Extremely High turnover rate just look at the reviews. If you want to suffer with PTSD work here! If you need to be verbally and mentally abused work here! Terrible place to work! Retired Payroll Manager that clearly has no life and keeps coming back to the job is DEMONIC and pure EVIL! NO TRAINING She is toxic, very rude and verbally abusive. High Turnover rate in management and employees. No WORK LIFE balance. I Always had to take work home never was paid overtime. UNABLE TO ASK FOR HELP. Due to lack of training or direction you often do not know how to complete your work! Terrible Toxic Toxic environment. Most people take stress leave and sick leave to escape this place. Owner attempted to drive over a protester for the Parkdale Properties same retired Payroll lady told us that he slapped a receptionist in the face. Has many lawsuits which they settle out of court however you can youtube the ceo attempting to run over a Parkdale protester. Do yourself a favour get a job anywhere else but here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible and inequitable treatments of tenants, and they treat their own racialized employees inequitably: I have personally witnessed 4 of their staff break down and cry infront of me because they claim that Metcap's underpays/overwork their staff. That is why the management of the buildings are so bad.

It's six months my washroom,closet and kitchen needs fixing an I haven't seen anyone come to fix them as yet but as soon as your rent is late they are all over you. They don't care about the residents that lives in this building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything about the building and the company is horrendous. There can be no expectation of safe, sanitary or quiet living, on any level/criteria. False representation when I was with salespeople, false representation on the web. As close to predatory as an organization can be in the realm of apartment rentals.

It's currently 32 degrees outside. MetCap has sealed all balcony doors shut due to their never-ending renovations so you can't even open your door in the evening for some fresh air, due to this my apartment is unbearably hot, and of course they won't turn the air conditioning on. If you have any sort of breathing difficulties here's another reason to avoid MetCap.
MetCap IS THE WORST SLUMLORD EVER. I don't even know where to begin to describe how awful this company is. The staff in the office are obnoxious, unhelpful, ill-mannered, and overall inept. You'd think that for the amount of rent they charge, they'd hire professional and competent staff, but that's too much to ask from MetCap. The building's interior is in complete disarray. The building is infested with roaches but they'd rather spend millions on fixing the exterior of the building so they can jack up the rent. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig! DO NOT RENT FROM ANY BUILDING MANAGED BY METCAP. Save yourself the pain and hassle you'll experience and find something else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely horrible company. Do not rent with them! They do not provide the services included in the lease (like Wi-Fi). The heating has not been working properly all winter, I have been freezing all winter. When I visited the building, I was told all construction was done. However, loud construction has been going none stop for 5 months everyday, even the weekends. I have been missing shelves in the cupboards since I moved in and they still did not come install them. The workers do botched work and they refuse to send someone to fix it. There are constantly staff walking back and forth in the hallways making noises and speaking loudly, with music, often right in front of my door. The apartment was very dirty when I arrived. They offer no compensation for the non provided services, or any of the other issues. The managers and staff are dismissive, very rude, and do not respond to emails sent to the managers emails, nor the customer service email. They told me the construction and noise was normal and would just continue indefinitely as people move in and out. My lease provides for payments via e-transfer, in Quebec, the lessor must allow the tenant to pay as provided by the lease. However they refuse to let me pay with that method, I advised them multiple times over the last few months their online system does not accept my bank, now, they are trying to evict me.
