J	Jane Pitchford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite being close to closing the staff went out of their way to cut the aluminum steel pieces I needed and their staff were all friendly, actually cared about my needs and provided great service. I ended up at this location after experiencing terrible service for the second time at the Etobicoke location. The staff here are caring and professional and have a greater selection than the Etobicoke location. My metal was tied together so it would safely fit in my car and placed it in my car unlike Etobicoke location which leaves pieces loose. Gentleman who put my metal in the car was even friendly to my dog! Will always shop here in future.

The prices per pound are better through the larger/industry suppliers on higher quantities, but nobody can compete w/ metal supermarkets on the low qty stuff. Staff is generally friendly and competent at most locations.

I can't recall anyone with such attitude in the past 20 some years I have been in business. In my place he would be fired the very second he displayed such horrible attitude towards a customer that feeds him and the rest of the team. How hard it is to understand that his salary comes from all the customers that come in and buy the product. They lost our account but I wonder how many other accounts had they lost because of his animosity. We informed the manager but it is like talking to deaf person. Lame excuse that the head office keeps him and he has nothing to say. Great management. Way to go.

He was rude, swore at me, grabbed my work order out of my hand and then directed me elsewhere. Maybe he was having a bad day, but to be sworn at is incredible. It took an hour and half to have one bar cut. Unbelievable. Never coming back.

I have received timely delivery of metal every time, to size. On occasion the quoting process can be long for special orders, but this is something we have to deal with as small customers of metal in a market like today I will be continuing to do business with Metal Supermarkets given my experience so far.

Been going here for a long time but they hired a new older lady at the front desk who is making mistakes left and right. I asked for a simple round bar, and she made me wait far too long just to give me back an angle iron, not to mention she didn't even give me the right amount of change back when I paid in cash until I told her. When I returned the angle iron and asked if she could tell me if another store has it in stock and is able to check, she lied to me saying its an item these stores typically don't have in stock (even though I've bought it multiple times) and that "she is too busy and can't check right now". Clearly they're too busy for their customers so I'll be too busy shopping elsewhere.
