The response time on the multiple quotes was fast, order prep is fast, shipping is fast, delivery is fast and customer service is truly tops. The steel arrived well packaged and coated with cosmoline or something similar to prevent oxidation. The steel was precision cut to exactly my specifications and as soon as I’m done etching this order I am going to be putting in another order. Thank you Metal Pros! So glad I found you online!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow - what incredible service. I am located in Southern Ontario, and could not find 1" steel T-Bar anywhere locally. After a lot of searching, I came across Metal Pros online and took a shot. It looked like they had some in stock, so I gave them a call. Mike Marin picked up the phone and went and checked inventory for me, and confirmed they had some. Then he worked with me to figure out the most inexpensive shipping method by cutting it closer to the size I needed. Then he even went online and checked to see why the shipment was delayed one day without even asking. Outstanding service from Mike. Ottawa is lucky to have Mike and Metal Pros. Well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a customer of Metal Pros (Old Sheffield Rd in Ottawa) since 2012. Back then I found the business to be welcoming and helpful. Mike and his team have made the operation even better over the years. Frequently, I just need a small piece of stock for the project I am working on. For a hobbiest like me it is extremely helpful to be able to pick through the odds and ends. That has not been possible with the pandemic safety measures but Shayne still found a practical way of selling me cutoff stock based on a range of parameters that I provided. Their quality of service makes this shop a busy operation. I have found the on-line quote system particularly helpful for cost estimating and the email confirmation clarifies what is being ordered. The single time there was an issue with my order (stainless square tubing that arrived bent from the supplier) Mike promptly acknowledged the situation and ordered replacements. I consider that a clear sign of integrity and I am happy to give them my business. (#not sponsored ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this business. I've spent over a thousand dollars here. The staff are helpful and friendly. The prices and products are excellent. Here's the problem:
You can't see or touch what you're looking for. It's the curb side cop out. I've shopped on their website and ordered some really nice but way too strong/thick aluminum. I paid and accepted the material because I'm not the type to back out of an order. I'll use the material on other more worthy projects.
My point is, I can't readily tell the difference between perforated sheet that is 0.094" HOLE ON 0.156" CENTRE STG x 0.063" and perforated sheet that is 0.125" HOLE ON 0.188" CENTRE STG x 0.063" without holding it in my hand.
I'm not a time waster, I want (need) these metals, and instead of getting stressed out by the whole experience of needing to have advanced orders in place and not being able to touch/feel what I'm buying I'll have to shop elsewhere, regretfully.
