I did quite a bit of shopping around for the type of vehicle I was looking for and was very specific on the packages and features as well. From the first time I spoke to Dakin Wilson till the end while picking up my car, he was a professional throughout! He was very responsive to my emails and phone calls and did everything to ensure that I had all the information at my fingertips to make a decision. I had tons of questions for him throughout the discovery and sales process and he was very patient with me. It was well worth the 2 hour trip to Peterborough to pick up my stunning vehicle. The only reason I would give this rating a 4-star (and it does not have to do with Dakin Wilson at all) is because of Mark Fert (the finance manager). He does not reply to emails!!!! I found this to be a huge turn-off. Dakin - You deserve a 5-star rating! Thanks for everything!

Exceptionally disappointing. I've held off posting a review while I have been talking to the dealership but I feel it's not been addressed properly. I have given them opportunity to work with me to correct the issues but that hasn't worked. So if they reply to this review saying they want to help; it's only because I shared my experience publicly. -Didn't do work they said they would -Reported inaccurate service information to Carfax, declaring that they completed work that they did not even start -Refused to fix Carfax saying it was 'done by an algorithm' which is not true and told me that I have to fix the Carfax report myself! I booked in my car weeks in advance for new spark plugs, a coolant flush, and instructions for checking for vacuum leaks because of intermittent idle issue, and then checking things like engine mounts, flex discs and transmission mount. Dropped off 8am. Told to collect following morning. Get a taxi following morning to be told car is not ready. Get a call later in the afternoon that car is ready. Upon pickup, I get a $800 bill for the general check over of the car, but I am told that spark plugs were not ordered for me, and not in stock and coolant flush was not done, and they don't know why - basically no reason or excuse.. Spark plugs could have been ordered well in advance, or even the day before I picked it up. No idea about the coolant flush other than they didn't care to do it. The icing on the cake was the quote I was given for over $15,000 of additional work that I should book in because it's important. So they won't do what I ask, but will absolutely encourage me to spend $15k on other stuff. They didn't replace the actual things I asked to be replaced - I paid $800 for the luxury of getting a $15k+ quote. Finally a week later I get a notification from Carfax asking me how my service was. The dealership have recorded on my vehicle's Carfax history report that they changed spark plugs and did an oil change - of which they did neither. They did offer for me to bring the car back in to do the coolant flush, but the spark plug job would need to be booked in when they can order the spark plugs (not sure when that would be - even thought they are absolutely readily available), and they refused to fix the Carfax entry and instructed me instead to go to Carfax myself and fix their error. I will also add that my car was at Mercedes-Benz of Toronto less than a year ago and they noticed none of the $15,000 list of things to be done, short of valve cover gaskets and flex discs. My car has also spent time at two independent Mercedes-Benz specialists (ex-Mercedes techs) and nobody else has mentioned that there is any kind of severe, $15k worth of work that needs to be completed. The consensus from friends that work at other Mercedes-Benz dealerships, and friends that own independent mechanic shops is that this is the dealerships way of just ensuring I don't come back because they simply don't want to work on an older Mercedes, or my car specifically for whatever reason. I have no issues spending money on maintenance. This is why I brought it to the dealership in the first place - I am fully aware of their hourly rate, I just don't appreciate what has happened here. I was particularly disappointed because when I dropped my car off there were other cars present of the same vintage. So they obviously do work on these cars - I guess it's just comes down to who you know. Going forward I will be paying for my vehicle to be shipped to Toronto to be worked on. I feel that because my car is older and perhaps less valuable than some of the newer vehicles I have been treated differently, and poorly. If this is not true, and I have been treated the same way as everyone else, I would definitely choose to go somewhere else if you have the opportunity.

I want to thank Mercedes-Benz Peterborough for their work that they completed on my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee; it came to their shops because it has a factory OM642 diesel engine by Mercedes. I have to thank Jordan Batten, Frances Morana and their team of technicians, for scheduling my vehicle in, for keeping me up-to-date on the costs and the progression of the work order. These repairs were not small tasks; they had to replace the intake manifold, timing chain and guides, oil cooler and EGR seals, plus various other parts. I understood what I was undertaking based on the age of my vehicle and was ready for the cost as the work order changed. The staff were great at communicating the changes and getting the parts into their shop quickly. I would highly recommend them for all of your Mercedes-Benz needs. If you maintain your vehicle, it can last for hundreds of thousands of kilometres.

I’ve been to several Mercedes dealerships in the Toronto area and none of them have the quality of service that the Peterborough location has, and that probably has a lot to do with Lacey Phillips, she’s absolutely phenomenal to work with. I love how they present the car to you when you pick it up as well. They went all out for us and that’s why I gotta shout them out.

I recently purchased a S580 and the experience was absolutely first class from first meeting to delivery. Lacey Phillips was so personable, attentive and helpful - even after delivery. I would highly recommend speaking to her if you are thinking of purchasing a car. The GM - Mike - made an effort to come meet me when I was picking up the car. It was worth the drive from Toronto to Peterborough. First class team all the way!

Picked up my new GLE coupe from Mercedes-Benz in Peterborough today and my husband and I are so happy. I wanted recognize @mercedesbenzpeterborough for going far above and beyond once again. I’d never buy a @mercedesbenz from any other dealer in the GTA. Rarely a positive experience in the past. However, time and time again, MB Peterborough has been a shining example of what a luxury car purchase should be like. It’s hard to get good service anywhere these days and today, I want to recognize Lacey Phillips, Michael Santos and the staff at Mercedes Benz Peterborough. They embody excellence. The bouquet of roses and swag bag was really thoughtful and appreciated?. I can’t promise everyone else gets roses because Bru and I are pretty special BUT……I can say that if you are looking for a MB, it’s worth your time to pay them a visit. Thank you @mercedesbenzpeterborough for your ongoing commitment to a great buying experience. Please find a good home for my old gal. She was truly the best car I ever owned. ?

Buyer Beware is the experience I had with this dealership. Purchased a 2014 ML63 with 98,000kms on in January. I took it into another MB dealership for regulare maiteance (i've put onroughly 12,000km mostly highly) and it need rear pads (due to uneven wear), a new oil pan as the current is corred and barely hanging on, 2 front wheel bearings and a mjaor oil leak repaired (oil is leaking from the timing cover onto the turbos) for a dealership that prides thems self on being used AMG specialist...to say I'm disapointed is an understatment. Take your hard eared cash somewhere else! I even reached out to the dealership to discuss...no reply.

Speedy, professional and convenient service! I’m so impressed with the staff at the Mercedes Peterborough service centre. Today, a Saturday, I was able to book an appointment, via text, with just a few moments notice. I was in and out in a flash. Thank you! The only disappointment is that the repair didn’t take long enough for me to enjoy a complimentary coffee and treat in your cozy lounge. :) Thank you for the top notch service!
