Super delicious food. All the flavors were perfect. Very friendly service. Awesome ambiance. Great for friends, family, or a hot date. I got the vegetarian tagine and it was delicious. My friends got the lamb and loved it. Also really good playlist in the background. Will be back soon.

The food was good honestly but the services and staff working there are aggressive and have attitude and I believe somehow could be racist. My friend visited there twice and she received the same attitude and being aggressive and don’t care about your experience at their restaurant and yesterday I went and it was real OMG they do not respect you and reply to you with anger specifically if you have dark skin based on what I saw and my friend experience.

Mezzes are very expensive for the little amount they give. The Royal fingers were the best out of all the mezzes tasted. The blend of the olives and meat were really nice. Be warned that the Mechouia salad (dip) has a bit of a spicy kick (medium in spiciness). The birouates dessert (only comes as one piece) were very tasty. The chicken tajine was absolutely delicious, even the couscous was fluffy and well cooked I ghly recommended taking that.

The Couscous Royal is so good and tasty, the lamb is really tender. Desserts are really good portions so it's easy to share. I like that you can bring your own wine or beer too.

We ordered some starters and desserts, they were all tasty, but the presentation was very basic. The service was not the best, the servers seemed impatient and increasingly stressed as more people arrived. Another point to observe is that the tables are too small, the food barely fit on it, the space between the tables are also restricted.

Very cozy and colourful. The menu is very limited. They have a belly dance show that starts around 9 pm. Parking is very hard around there. There is a city parking lot about 1000 metres west of the restaurant.

Pros: Nice cozy place. Generous portions. Delicious food. Reasonable price. Lively ambience. You can enjoy a great “table d’hôte” with a belly dance show on Friday and Saturday nights. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended ?? ?? Cons: Might be difficult to find a place to park your car close to the restaurant

The presentation was good, and our server was friendly. Hands down, the lamb has been one of the best I’ve ever had, and the Couscous was delicious. But unfortunately, it was a slippery slope from there. The merguez was cold, and the chicken was dry but dry as if it was cafeteria food, and that’s an understatement. The veggies (carrots and zucchini) were barely cooked, almost felt raw. The dessert was okay. I am honesty surprised by the high rating of this restaurant, and it was the reason for us trying it. For the price you’re paying, there are better Couscous restaurants in Montreal.
